You were right...it was forgettable, and I grew up with those Spielberg movies along with Goonies, Monster Squad, and whatever else this was supposed to echo. Probably the most uninteresting movie I've seen this summer so far. Dakota Fanning's sister was pretty good though. She'll end up being a great actress.

X-Men: First Class on the other hand was frigging epic, and I'm the most casual X Men fan on earth. Just a great, great movie.

Which is disappointing, because the original was great.

It was exactly the same as Hangover 1, only with less quotable material. I wasn't disappointed, because that's what I expected, but still....just wait for netflix.
