Imaginary polls arn't included in the definition of the word "facts".

Sure it is.

I don't need to poll the league to know Tom Brady is the best QB in the AFC East.

And I don't have to do the same with the great DeSean Jackson.

..and if i was being a homer, i'd nominate a Cowboys for best WR in the division. I've stated repeatedly that i'd take Maclin all day over D Jag. He's simply a better all around WR. Nothing homerish about it.

Ah, so Jeremy Maclin is the best WR in the division.

Noted.

NFL writers have no bias. They are a far more reliable source on evalutions of players than fans. Fans are mostly idiots. They can't look past the helmets. As evidenced here by a group of foam fingered melvins trying to dismiss the greatness of DeSean Jackson.

Again, you don't seem to realize it has nothing to do with the Cowboys. Im not nominating a Cowboy for best WR in the division, im saying D Jag isn't even the best on his team. He was outproduced by the guy who is a better overall WR than him. Im not the only one who, if i was starting a team, would take the younger, and better all around WR before the guy who relies on pure speed and can't run more than a couple routes.

He's the best on the team. I'd go to the Giants if i wanted to talk best in the division.

Ah, so now he's the best on the team. Which is laughable, but I'll play along.

So give me your top 5 WRs in the division.

You're shooting down Jackson because he's the real talent. He's the guy everybody knows is a freak. So hey, let's pretend some ham and egger is better. They guy benefitting from the great player getting all the coverage.

It's a pretty standard homer thing to do, really.

Check this out, Dez isn't even the best WR on the team. Read that and other gems over at Extremeskins.com.

It's real simple. Most NFL fans would agree with me.

That's the real test of this debate. What does the NFL world think of Jackson?

Last I checked they think he's the best in the division.

Most NFL fans wouldn't agree with you.

See.. i can make predictions/assumptions too. Stick to the things that can be proven.

Dez shouldn't even be top 5.

Even with the fact that it was Dez rookie year, he didn't play the last 5 games, and he had trouble learning the offense right away from missing so much time before the season, he still caught as many balls and as many TD's as D Jag.

lol

Yet another incredibly stupid statement. Are you really this naive?

When you poll NFL writers it's a far more unbias group than to ask, say, a group of Cowboys fans.

No offense, but I wouldn't wipe my ass with the collective decision from this board. It's riddled with worthless opinions since the subject involves the Cowboys.

You'll get far more impartial opinions from people with no horse in the race. And when those people cover the league for a living, I'd say it's a pretty credible voice.

So we're back to - the NFL writers annointed DeSean Jackson the best WR in the NFC East and also a top 10 overall WR in the league.

They basically said I am right and you are wrong. I am impartial, you are a homer. I'm worthy to read, you're not.

Discuss.
