Another wrong finally righted decades late. Congrats Drew and I like how Roger and Jerry set him up to be there (well Roger anyway) when he got the news. Now lets get Chuck Howley in before its too late. An absolute crime he hasnt been in for decades. Last I saw a phot of him, he didnt look in great shape.
Jimmy wasn’t staying. He never stayed at any coaching job more than 5 years. He already said several times he wasn’t coming back for a run at a third ring. It’s a damn shame these two egos couldn’t figure it out but that’s the breaks.
I’m a lifelong Jimmy Johnson fan. When he was an asst at Arkansas he spoke at our football banquet when I was in fourth or fifth grade. But he loves the beach and ocean more than football and it was inevitable he was going to the Keys.
