Yeah, no shit. And I have never seen a guy get more out coached that him. Not even Campo. Well, ermmm. maybe. And the fact that all he has to worry about is x's and o's, he still doesn't adjust, nor do the players, when the opposing team is doing something it didn't do in the earlier part of the game. He never finds the mismatches.

THANK YOU! But he's an "asset". The reason why he often gets outcoached is because he often OUTTHINKS himself. He's a legend in his own mind. It's like Jack Reilly 2.0. You remember him? He was like pulling plays out of a hat; no rhyme or reason behind them. And moreso than Wade, he always had that freaking clueless look to him---like he was in a daze.

And he's been lousy at it. For the supposedly coach-in-waiting, one would think he would be much more involved.

If he was lousy at it, it would show up in the yardage totals.

Try again.

He runs an effective offense with no offensive line to speak of. That's more than you can ask from any coordinator.

I'm not worried about it at all. He's had a chance to sit back and watch how not to do things. He seems like a very sharp guy and the main thing is he doesn't have an ego the size of Texas.

A GM's first job is to evaluate talent.

See, I realize Jerry has bastardized this franchise to the tune of his fan base not even remembering how a proper functioning football team works, but you're supposed to win because of your GM, not despite of him.

Can Stephen evaluate talent? He has no background in it other than his fake VP of Personnel tag here. And we've been pretty awful at finding talent during his tenure with the exception of the Parcells years.

I have no reason to believe he's anything more than a piece of shat con man like his father. He just gets the backup QB treatment from the fan base when the starter sucks. Until he gets on the field and you realize he sucks too.

I'm hoping Stephen will hire a GM when he takes over.

If his daddy isn't around to see it what difference does it make?

Way, way back, Stephen said in an interview that if he ever took over the team he'd hire a real GM. He didn't have the need to pretend he is one like his father.

But last year he talked about how much fun it is to be the fake VP of personnel and put together rosters. He made it pretty clear that he would never give that up.

So I'd be highly surprised if he hired a GM.

I wish I would of heard that interview, I hope he sticks to his original thought and not his latest.
