Don't you want Gruden or Cowher? F college coaches. Name the last one to have success, that didn't go to college coaching after coaching in the NFL *cough* Pete Carroll *cough*.

I still like Jim Harbaugh of Stanford. And he played in the NFL.

So did Jason Garrett and I don't want him anywhere near our HC job.

Harbaugh's fire for the game is contagious, and his players play very smart. He's not like Garrett who calls plays and stands there like a geek.

It's hard to say if any collegiate coach will have success in the NFL.

Some do and some don't. I know a couple who didn't. Saban and Spurrier.

Wow. Have you really watched enough Stanford games to make that comment?

I've watched several. I know they let Oregon come back but shit happens.

His players play tough and smart. We haven't had that in 15 years.

Garret's more concerned about the Xs and Os of the game rather than the players.

Bring Harbaugh in here under this same situation and fans will want to run him out of town in two years with cries of college coach.

Jerry's got to step down. I think the fans who aren't dumbasses are sick of his shit and he knows it too.

Not happening. The best you can hope for is another Parcells situation where he retains the GM title but gets the hell out of the locker room and lets the coaching staff coach. To think an owner is involved in gameplanning and the figurehead of the team with the media is ridiculous. We're a joke right now.

But even when he's gone, his son takes over. What makes anyone think he'll be any better?

I think his son will be better. They almost came to blows over signing Deion because his son knew what it would do long term. He's also the reason we got TO the F out of here. He also does a great job managing the cap. I think he'll be a good one.

Yeah, but he'll have arthritis and Parkinson's disease by the time he finally gets around to it.

And was it not against the "great" Parcells that Delhomme had his coming out party?

SHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, now, don't wanna bust "anyone's" bubble in here and they find out just what a fucking quitter the douche Parcells is/was. heheeheehheehheehe

Jerry's son was instrumental of getting rid of that POS T-blow.

That is enough for me.

And , no, this team doesn't need another Parcells. They need a coach that will stick with them through it all.

But, none of this means shit because that ****sucker Jerry is still gonna be GM. So, the Cowboys are fucked.

And that sucks for us fans. And the players. , coaches, etc.

Is he the best guy to GM the Cowboys? Are there more qualified candidates out there?

I think that answer is obvious. Stephen is the son of an oil salesman. He didn't cut his teeth in personnel. So I'm not interested in him running my team.

Now he has held a fake VP of Personnel gig for his daddy, but the only qualifications he needed for that job was to be his demon seed.

I'm not worried about it at all. He's had a chance to sit back and watch how not to do things. He seems like a very sharp guy and the main thing is he doesn't have an ego the size of Texas.

And he's been lousy at it. For the supposedly coach-in-waiting, one would think he would be much more involved.

Yeah, no shit. And I have never seen a guy get more out coached that him. Not even Campo. Well, ermmm. maybe. And the fact that all he has to worry about is x's and o's, he still doesn't adjust, nor do the players, when the opposing team is doing something it didn't do in the earlier part of the game. He never finds the mismatches.
