I'm not getting in to who has the better case, because it's a totally subjective argument that lends itself to particular agendas... and we all know your agenda.
My agenda is, dudes who actually do MORE have a better case for MVP than dudes who do less. That's all. Doesn't matter the dudes involved.

So you think Murray will win the MVP? His numbers since Thanksgiving don't worry you?

Come on, make the case...

I loved the way Murray carried this team when Arizona came to town. Really proving that the offense runs through him.

Its reassuring to know that if the QB goes down, the offense doesn't take that much of a hit.

I can see where national people look at Murray's year and think he could be MVP, but no one who actually follows the team closely thinks that... Do they?

Well, when you actually run the ball, effectively cutting Romo's throws down(6 a game, with him missing a whole game), you take the ball out of his hands. Limiting the liability.

So yeah, someone thinks that.

The bolded part, nobody ever said. The rest of it is quite true and your Arizona game is a good example of it. 33 pass attempts for.... Weeden and Murray's touches waaaaay down?

The liability for Tony that's been most limited? The amount of hits he's had to take.

Might have done so if they would have let him have more than 19 carries.

Why do you think he only ran 19 times?

Couldn't be because the off couldn't function without it's key part, could it?

I mean, if Murray was the most valuable player, you'd think he could carry the offense.

Because that was his stats. 19-79.

Why would they EVER have Weeden throwing 33 times?

3rd down efficiency exposed this defense though, offense was only 3/11 and Arizona rolls up 400 yards.

You didn't feed Murray the ball, and you lost.

So, with Romo out they decide to feature the pass? 33 attempts for Weeden? And you blame Murray?

I think he deserves consideration and some votes, but Romo's December was other worldly. Dude basically threw two bad passes the entire month. Romo's numbers are as good if not better than Rodgers and the games where Romo was most adversely impacted health wise (SF, Arizona and Thanksgiving Philly game) we lost, whereas we won 12 of the other 13 and many of those fairly easily.

:lol

No. I'm trying to help you out. The MVP was injured and not playing that day. The offense was putrid without it's MVP.

Sounds like the coaches were putrid. Only 19 carries for Murray, and 33 pass attempts for.... Weeden? That should have been flipped, you make first downs and you keep this defense off the field.
