lol I'm extreme pro Parcells.

Yes, you are.

If you doubt this, simply check your post history. You're a Parcells fluffer.

Me acknowledging a future first ballot hall of fame coach as a great one is extreme.

It is when you take it to the extreme measures that you do, yes.

Saying that the team was a laughing stock of the league for years until he arrived and turned it around.

He turned a 5-11 team into a 9-7 team after four years.

Color me unimpressed.

The same turn around job he's done everywhere he's been.

Wrong. He's had diminishing success at each subsequent stop.

Giants? Two Super Bowls.

Patriots? Super Bowl loss.

Jets? AFC Championship loss.

Cowboys? Not even a playoff win.

~yawn~

He's been flawless. Check the resume. That's extreme too.

Yeah . . . if you consider what he's done as being flawless, well, then thats you being extreme again.

Hell . . . I'd consider him negotiating with the Jets about a head coaching job while his team (Patriots) was preparing for the Super Bowl as being pretty fucking flawed.

I'd also consider his regularly getting burned out and quitting on teams after just 4 years as being a major flaw.

I call a spade a spade. I don't care what team you're on.

I'll be proven correct when he's making his speech in Canton and Wade Phillips isn't.

Jerry Jones is going to end up in the Hall of Fame as well.

I guess he's flawless.

Not only is he much better than the head coach we have now, he's the best coach to ever walk our sideline.

This is the extremism showing again.

Yes.

Because Bill has been able to do it in his golden years while Landry was a laughing stock at that age and had to be fired for the Cowboys to get good again. That's never happened to Bill. It never will happen to Bill.

Bill was able to do what in his golden years? Take a team to 9-7?

And that makes him better than a guy who had an unmatched 20 consecutive winning seasons? A guy who took a team to the Super Bowl 5 times? A guy who many people say "invented" the 4-3 defense? Who was one of the most innovative minds in the NFL?

Give me a fucking break.

This is you going to the extreme again . . .

sbk's extremeism is beyond what is over on extremeskins.com

They're no more extreme than any Cowboys board you've posted at. You just think they are.

In a room full of Jerry and Wade supporters, color me extreme. I certainly don't want to blend in with that retarded crowd.

Everytime you tune into a Cowboys game . . . purchase merchandise, and cheer for the Cowboys, you're supporting Jerry and Wade.

You would put him above Landry?

Yes.

Because Bill has been able to do it in his golden years while Landry was a laughing stock at that age and had to be fired for the Cowboys to get good again. That's never happened to Bill. It never will happen to Bill.

Maybe Jimmy was better, but his sample size is smaller.

I think you can make a case that 3 of the top 10 greatest head coaches in NFL history coached here. So it's not like I don't respect Landry's impact on the game and this team in particular. He, along with Tex and Gil, created this beast we call the Dallas Cowboys. We're forever indebted to them. I just happen to believe Parcells was the best of the bunch. In terms of his entire career. Of course Landry and Jimmy had more success here.

Wow.

Parcells never got fired because he new when to quit. LOL.

Not even close to Landry status.
