Oh, don't ban him.

Every village needs their idiot.

I'd never ban him. We have a love/hate relationship that goes back some 8 years or so. We disagree on . . . well . . . pretty much everything, but I don't take anything personal and I doubt he does either.

Despite what a few of you may think of Sbk's stances on things, he's the furthest thing from a troll. This place is brand new and made up of guys from a lot of different boards. Personalities are bound to clash. Like Midswat pointed out, we have been with sbk on other boards including his own for a lot of years.

He won't be banned from here, same as you guys. We aren't in the business of slapping wrists, at most we may delete a post here or there if we feel it's best to do that, but we tend to just let "boys be boys".

Everyones opinion is welcome.

So?

Play it safe in a fucking Playoff game because, after all. "There is always next week right"?

STFU. All of you nutswinging Parcells followers.

Hilarious, this dipshit, who isn't even involved with the Cowboys any longer (and never should of been), gets the pass. Yet, Jerry, who has brought some success and failures, realized how he had been fucking up, changed it and now the Cowboys are looking better, gets the shaft.

Gimme a break.

Easy on Parcells there buddy.

He's done a lot for this organization.

You can take it easy on him bro.

That guy IS and always WAS the enemy.

And he hasn't done shit more then Wade. He left this team at one level. playing pussy ball. And Wade, suprisingly brought them to the next level.

Ban that idiot.

He's an embarrassment to have here.

Why? Because he has a different opinion than you?

You're Extreme Pro-Parcells. He's Extreme Anti-Parcells.

There's truth in what both of you say from time to time, naturally, as the truth typically lies in the middle between two extremes.

lol I'm extreme pro Parcells.

Me acknowledging a future first ballot hall of fame coach as a great one is extreme.

Saying that the team was a laughing stock of the league for years until he arrived and turned it around. The same turn around job he's done everywhere he's been. He's been flawless. Check the resume. That's extreme too.

Apparently extreme is a new synonym for accurate.

I call a spade a spade. I don't care what team you're on.

I'll be proven correct when he's making his speech in Canton and Wade Phillips isn't.

Not only is he much better than the head coach we have now, he's the best coach to ever walk our sideline.

You would put him above Landry?

Yes.

Because Bill has been able to do it in his golden years while Landry was a laughing stock at that age and had to be fired for the Cowboys to get good again. That's never happened to Bill. It never will happen to Bill.

Maybe Jimmy was better, but his sample size is smaller.

I think you can make a case that 3 of the top 10 greatest head coaches in NFL history coached here. So it's not like I don't respect Landry's impact on the game and this team in particular. He, along with Tex and Gil, created this beast we call the Dallas Cowboys. We're forever indebted to them. I just happen to believe Parcells was the best of the bunch. In terms of his entire career. Of course Landry and Jimmy had more success here.

Landry is my favorite coach of all time.

Parcells/Jimmy Johnson second.

All three of these coaches were awesome at what they did, and they all did a great job for our organization.

I cannot agree with you on where Parcells is versus where Landry was at the end of his career. I love the talent Parcells added to our team but his ability to win games was suspect. It has been 20 years now since Parcells last won the Super Bowl. It has been 14 since he coached in a Super Bowl and 12 since he won a playoff game. Parcells' time as a head coach was over when he left New England. I think he still has a place in football, but it is not on the sidelines.

It's fucking ludicrous and beyiond idiotic to place Parcells impact with the Cowboys on par with Jimmy Johnson. Wade certainly has done more with this organization that what Parcells has done. This ballwashing of Parcells is sickening.

What's to disagree with?

Parcells in his 60's was turning downtrodden teams around to playoff contenders. Landry in his 60's was running his franchise straight into the dirt to the tune of the first overall pick in the draft.

He was fired. I'm not making this up. He had to go before the Cowboys got better.

I disagree with you on Parcells' ability to win games. He didn't have this team today. He had a young developing team without a franchise QB. He won as much as I could expect anyone to win with those teams. He didn't stick around long enough to win big.

All you have to know is this. Wade Phillips, a loser at every stop in his career, won a playoff game with this team. Certainly Parcells would have done that and more. He's an infinitely better coach than Phillips.

Landry also didn't coach in the free agent era where you could pick up quality veterans to restock your team. When Danny White went down we were screwed at QB until we drafted Aikman. I cannot say what Landry would've done with the ability to sign free agents but I doubt we go 3-13 under him.

In the mean time Landry was busy in the draft picking up guys like Michael Irvin, Ken Norton Jr, Chad Hennings and Herschell Walker.

Just like Parcells HAD TO GO before the Cowboys got better... AND THEY DID.

But listen to yourself. If Parcells was all of that, then he shouldn't have NEEDED the team thatit is today. His "superior" coaching would have been enough.
The Cowboys fucking won the division in Wade's first year.

As for the "young developing team"....the average age of Parcells' team in his last year was 28 on offense and 26 on defense---hardly a young team. In fact, in Wade's FIRST YEAR, the average age of the offense was...28 and on defense... 26. The SAME. And yet in Wade;s first year, the Cowboys won the division.

And did Romo become a franchise QB in one offseason? How long was Romo on the team right under Parcells' nose to where he didn't recognize Romo being a franchise QB? Apparently, you're just ADMITTING that Romo developed into this franchise QB, outside of Parcells influence. Imagine that.

All you have to know is this. Wade Phillips, a loser at every stop in his career, won a playoff game with this team.

And what do you think Parcells was here? And what has Parcells been WITHOUT Belicek? Yes, Wade's won a playoff game with the Cowboys in addition to TWO DIVISION TITLES. Far more than what Parcells has done.

Certainly Parcells would have done that and more.

BUT HE DIDN'T. But continue to slurp on Parcells' schlong. It's a wonder if the guy can even take a piss, due to it shriveling up from your sucking. I can only imagine what this Oline would have been like with Petitti, E.J. Whitley, Peterman, Rogers, Marten. etc.

He's an infinitely better coach than Phillips.

Not for the Cowboys.

I'm probably going to have to start enforcing some rules if you guys can't make your points and keep the insults to a minimum.

I don't want a fucking list of forum rules that you guys have to follow. I'd rather you guys censor yourselves and keep the bullshit to a minimum. Either attempt to be somewhat civil in your debate or we're going to have to make some changes.

I'm not asking you guys to be friends, some of the back and forth is funny and entertaining. Some of it is getting old.

True on free agency.

But Landry also benefitted from having the first real in depth scouting department back in the 60's. Brandt was force feeding him gems on a regular basis.
