A win vs Green Bay would be the Cowboy's biggest win since Switzer's "we did it our way, baby" Super Bowl win.

Look further back than the mid-90's, though, and the competition is very tough.

I disagree.

The back to back wins vs Philly in 09 were huge.

We had been Philly's whipping boys for years.

It essentially ended the McNabb era. I've never hated a player more than him.

But mostly because it got the 0 playoff wins in 17 years thing off the airwaves. Got so tired of that story.

Almost posted several times I'm surprised there hasn't been a teary-eyed thread about that at CZ...

After soaking in the victory, and seeing Jerry hand the Lombardi to the man who so richly deserved it, Jason, I tried to sleep. But I couldn't. I just tossed and tossed, replaying every exciting play in my head. This was real and I fully expected it. My Cowboys were Super Bowl champions again, ratifying everything I predicted about Garrett.

Still, I needed my sleep. Suddenly it hit me - I had unfinished business. I rose out of bed, went out on the back patio, looked up at the stars above and whispered "We did it DC Fanatic. Our Cowboys did it old friend." Then I returned to bed and slept soundly.

I agree that the back to back wins were huge, for the reasons you mention. Good point about it being the end of McNabb as an Eagle.

But I still think getting into the NFC Championship game is an extra big deal. It has been a long time since the Cowboys have won two consecutive playoff games. Getting a win on the road in Green Bay is big too.

LOL

Remember ****** Dallas fans that truly believed Reid had his Eagles flop on purpose in week 17 against us because "knew" they could manhandle us the next week and that they preferred to play Dallas all along?

Divisional round game better than Super Bowl? Suuuuure
If you want to rank wins, this last one vs. Detroit was huge. I rank it above SB 30 because that one was pretty much a given - that team would have beaten that Pissburg team 10 out of 10 times in their sleep. And for most of that game, they were in their sleep. Switzer's presence put a bad taste in my mouth and almost ruined any joy I could have had.

By the way are you the moron who said this game vs. Green Bay would NOT be called "Ice Bowl 2?"
Nobody will call it Ice Bowl 2. It'll just be a game.

Not going to happen. The Cowboys' run ends this Sunday at Lambeau. This is where the fix will really be in.

The league wants a storyline that features all four previous Super Bowl-winning QBs: Wilson, Rodgers, Manning, and Brady. The Legends Bowl (Brady vs. Mannng) and the Legends In The Making Bowl (Wilson vs. Rodgers).

And then you will have all the sub-plots:

1.) After losing twice in Seattle, will the third time be the charm for Rodgers and the Packers?

2.) Will Manning and the Broncos get revenge against Brady and the Patriots?

3.) With it culminating a showdown between the Patriots and Packers, with them f course heavily referring back to the ealrier regular season game between the two teams with the Packers winning.

Nothing could be better for the sport than Dallas in the NFC Championship game.

Romo returns to Seattle where he fumbled that snap with a chance to create a legacy? A rematch for Seattle to prove the earlier drubbing at the hands of the Cowboys was a fluke?

Are you kidding??

Besides, the Pats are going 1 and done thanks to Haloti Ngata, T Suggs, and the Ravens.
