Right. :hypt

They'd probably ban people there, for trying to recruit to another board. If you don't like it here just hit the "log out" button and never return. Sheik wanted to sell it for a reason - it had become a boring echo chamber and he was sick of it. Well it ain't anymore. Don't like it? Tough shit.

You think it's more than that now?

That's good stuff.

Yeah, and Dez is easily replaceable.
Be sure to point me to where that was ever said, I'll wait.

We can live without him. People will still catch passes - it's always happened. It's nothing to get so pissy about.

You do understand this possibility of Desmond leaving is so remote, pigs might fly out of your ass first right?

See, I have this weird theory whereas if Desmond isn't there, we won't be trying to throw to him. Instead we will be throwing to other people who are wearing a star on their hat.

It's just a theory, mind you.

Doomsday said:
Dez isn't God and he is not irreplaceable, Chicken Little.

So what? Without Dez they'll have to adjust and figure out why we're torching them with other guys.

I guess you missed Statman's post showing we had 1000 yard receivers before Dez and during Dez.... We can live without Dez

Just from a quick look back. All insinuating he is easily replaceable. Not including the 5 billion times you dropped the "we would catch the ball regardless" stupidity.

And, yes, I'm openly recruiting now. Get away from this stagnant ass website with this retarded ass owner. Or don't. Whatever.

Hardly. I suppose if you skip all the times I was saying we needed to draft a wideout in the first round you might be able to be saying that without outright lying about it.

I never said or even insinuated Desmond was "easily replaceable" nor ever thought it.

Dooms is a good dude. He has some crazy opinions but it’s the off season, not much to talk about. One thing i have kind of learned is not to take opinions on the internet too seriously.

And besides that, before I bought this site the Boys went 8-8, three straight. New owner here, and POOF! 12-4!

And you just KNOW that is due to Carrot Top, Jeruh and a lot of the players reading our posts here Men! What do you think all these tapatalk users are who never post, but are always reading every word we type?

This has got to be one of the dumbest arguments I've ever seen on a MB.

Anyone devaluing Dez and his impact on this team just doesn't know basic football. Plain and simple.

You hate numbers because you hate facts that challenge the opinion you have based on a flawed perception.

Most fans can't remember more than 3 or 4 plays in a game a month later. Their opinions are based on a skewed perspective that puts too much emphasis on those plays and far too little on the critical plays that got the team to the point where they could make that memorable play.

Typical fans will remember the great 50 yard TD pass at the end of a game but they won't remember the critical 3rd and 2 play just before by a courageous RB that threw himself at a defensive line to get the extra inch and keep that drive alive for that great play to happen.

They don't remember the LB's tackle of the opponent's Pro Bowl RB behind the line that ended their drive and gave the offense one more opportunity to win the game.

Dez Bryant lined up with a quarterback was ranked #1 in the league last season. The offensive line is being projected as one of the best in NFL history. Another receiver on that team will be in the Hall of Fame, the best TE in Cowboy history. The running back broke a 50 year old record held by a legendary RB. He's not Emmitt Smith, that is for certain. He just passed Emmitt up for most yardage in a single Cowboy season, this broken, mediocre player that doesn't deserve a serious contract.

This is one instance in which I cannot refer to statistics to measure the loss of the #1 ranked RB last season to another team. No data exists because it will be the first time in 60 years that the #1 ranked RB played for a different team the following season.

No, it's Dez Bryant that should be paid. I agree that he is a great one, but he is a great among greats. Even so, for now he is remembered by most NFL fans for the catches he ALMOST made.

Is this guy the lovechild of AdamJT and Fuzzy, surrogated by xwalker?

Who's doing that?

MY position is, I question if we can afford him and if not, we will live. It's not the end of the world, not the end of our offense and not the end of the passing game.

Statman: tl;dr. All the tl;dr. Good god, I'm just a dumb football fan who only remembers long touchdowns. Dumb it down for me, champ.

It might help everyone to understand that none of us are right.

The only people who understand what needs to be done are the small percentage of professional executives and coaches that have resumes experience winning multiple Super Bowl.

Playerers talk, journalists write, sports analysts discuss and fans speculate.

That's what we do we speculate, theorize, and opinionated. That's what fans do and what we all have in common is that we all want the Cowboys to win. Yes, we debate, but we all want the Cowboys to win and many of us believe we have the answer.

We are Cowboy fans debating each other, we aren't debating Redskin fans. If we don't agree with each other then we should at least respect each other's passion. Besides, being right is overrated. If you are married t. hen you know what I mean. Quite often, being right earned me an all expense paid night sleeping on the couch.

I know my posts aren't for everybody and that's cool. Im just having fun discovering certain aspects of performance, I'm not trying to impress anyone, I don't beleive I'm the smartest person. In the world, my teenage daufhrers have informed me that they are. It must be true because I don't understand what the hell they are talking about half the time.

I hate pecker contest threads so I limit my responses to a specific disagreement with another poster.

Look at it this way. If we were all together in a room watching a Cowboy game together we would be celebrating and high fiving each other when they were winning regardless of any difference of opinion.
