I think everyone hopes that Bryant develops like Irvin did, but you are mistaken if you think Irvin was "good right away"

Irvin had a quality rookie year and then got hurt. He was basically just another WR for 89 and 90, and Jimmy drafted Alex Wright and then Alvin harper and Jimmy Smith in back to back to back years in 1990,1991 & 1992 in part because he began to wonderif Irvin was going to pan out. Most people dont remember, but for a time in training camp of 1991 Irvin was actually running 4th string at WR.

But he had a breakout year in 1991, and the rest was history. Bryant's first two years are both better than any of Irvin's first 3 seasons.

This is where, if I had any common sense, I would respect the moderators wishes. Especially considering how loose the rules here are to begin with, and the rather light handed approach the staff had chose to deal with this issue.

But I'm Sacamano. I grew up in a house full of lead based paint.

Give it time. The Zone is more and more becoming a Homer or Go Home sanctuary. Smart fans, with a grown up sense of humor, are going to see this place and that place for what they are.
