so what's your plan?

have the players turn down money in favor of maintaining their chastity until they "win something" (we won't get into what that something has to be or who is going to arbitrarily define it) or should the companies just pay only winners? like maybe instead of Starter paying Romo to promo stuff for them they could get Cliff Avril?

I'll just tell you in advance either way your line of reasoning on this is completely fucking retarded

Er, I'm more than aware that life isn't fair, like when the vacuous Kardashians make more than teachers, nurses, etc. I'm talking about what would be the norm "in a perfect world." Kids today are given trophies for accomplishing next to nothing, and athletes right out of college are awarded endorsement deals based on potential alone. That may be the "new reality," but it doesn't make it right.

Am I the only one who didn't realize bb was a Romo hater until lately?

Tony I like, up to a point. His apologists? Not so much.

ok gramps but surely you realize that it's stupid to point that out as some sort of flaw in Tony

not really. less time in Cabo or less time wasted filming Papa John's commercials would probably benefit him and the team. the same goes for his boss.

It's alot like Obama - if you disagree with him you're a hater. BBgun isn't a Romo hater. I'm not a Romo hater. We just happen to not be wearing rose colored glasses concerning him, and don't bend over and suck his balls defending him at every turn, blaming everything under the sun for his foibles.
You literally said you hope his back goes out and the sooner he leaves the better. That's way beyond being "realistic" about him.

I say how about we let the companies decide who in the hell they want to endorse. You know, kinda like free enterprise and stuff.

That's very realistic. Because this team will never advance with Romo there, being coddled braced up and built around.

Yes, they have that right. And I have the right to bash them when they do. What some call "progress" isn't always good.

i love the tuna so much but i absolutely hate him for those stupid qb commandments because it just gave grumpy old idiots something to hold onto.

the irony is that he was trying to celebritize himself at the time by playing on Romo's celebrity. noone gave a shit about anything else he said after that and he got canned. dick move.

That's funny... He opposed Jerry having the "Hard Knocks" show during his camp - the same camp where he told Romo, "I worry about you Tony, you're a China Doll out there" then proceeded to put him in anyway.... He was canned? That's news!

You're saying Parcells was FIRED?

prescient my ass. Tuna was trying to get/keep a job/stay in the spotlight. same thing morons like Tiki Barber do after they leave, put out some "story" to get themselves exposure by playing on the most volatile storylines of their former teams.
