Demarco Murray thread

Come on man, he's had quite a few really impressive moments. He averaged almost 9 yds per carry as a rookie and almost 6 yds per carry in 2009. He also had nearly 150 yds rushing the playoff win vs Philly.

Nothing as awesome as today, but he has had some really good moments and has flashed alot of skill.

I've still never been impressed with him. Other than speed he doesn't have much else and he's really injury prone.

I didnt say anything about giving Jones anything. Play whomever is better.

Personally I think he probably is betetr as the 3rd down/2nd back who spells the #1 guy and has a hgue role in the 3rd down offense. he's an exceptional receiver, runs draws well and is outstanding at blitz pickup

Murray was awesome, but dont downplay how well the OL performed. The addition of Holland and getting Fiametta back both made huge differences.

The OL did play well but Murray does some things that Jones and Choice lack to a certain extent.

Murray ran with a purpose. Outside of that 91 yarder he made a lot of those yards himself. He found his own holes when they were not there and got a ton of extra yards after contact. Those traits were sorely missing in our running game until today.

He should have cemented that with his performance today. He clearly brings the most to the table with his all around game. Rookie or not.

When they stopped the Rams on that last drive I was hoping they would feed him till he got 300. I got greedy.

They said the same thing when Austin blew up against KC. As long as Felix is out, Murray will start. If Felix is out over enough games for Murray to come close to this type of game again. Felix will officially be Roy Williams'd.
