Helluva first career start. Breaks alltime Cowboy single game rushing record.

Pretty easy to see why the Cowboys warroom was doing backflips over this guy now. What a performance.

Alot of scouting gurus missed on this guy badly. I read stuff about one dimensional, upright, speed back with good hands. He's alot more than that.

Murray just buttsexed every scout that doubted him. The rams have an AWFUL run D, but I think this guy is the real deal. I thought Holland played a solid game today up front on the line also. We were fucked and he came in and stabilized things.

We'll find out a lot about this entire team next week.

I want to see it over a good sample size of games, but it's hard not to love the guy. I've been waiting for him to have his shot.

Felix should not get his job back. If he does, I'll be extremely disappointed.

Ginger just said the job still belongs to Felix once he's healthy, but the Murray earned himself more playing time. I hope he was just being PC for the media, cuz he's a clown if he thinks Felix should still be starting.

Figures. You get a guy in there that sparks the running game, but can't wait to get back to the norm.

Perfect.

I guess alot will depend on the next game or two, but if Murray has more bigtime success I suspect he'd keep his role as the #1 RB.

That said, the run blocking today was a vast improvement over anything we've seen this year. Jones looked pretty awesome himself in preseason when he got some decent running room.

Absolutely love the 3 RB's we have in Murray, Jones and Tanner. Choice should be Old Yeller'd ASAP. Choice = D O G

Murray was awesome, but dont downplay how well the OL performed. The addition of Holland and getting Fiametta back both made huge differences.

Yes, but I'd like to see someone earn something on tihs team. Murray earned the opportunity to keep the #1 spot if he keeps this up. There's no way I go back to Felix if Murray can give you around 100 yards a game and 6 points.

I understand Garrett may be playing to the media and trying to keep Murray grounded, but if he's serious, I don't agree with going back to Felix.

Go with your best back. Murray turned in a very special performance today. An all-time performance. Felix has been here 3 or 4 years and has never done something like this.

We've played bad run Ds in the past.

That is most likely what he's doing. It's never good to give starters their jobs back just because they're starters. It just zaps the motivation out of them and the backups.

Well to be quite honest, nobody ever had a day like this for Dallas. And we've had as awesome a group of RB's as any team in league history.

Felix has had some really impressive games. Its not like he runs like a slug or never does anything great.

You should wait to see how it plays out before throwing them under the bus.

I can't remember one game where he impressed me. He's missing something.

You'd give Felix the job back?

Why? Especially if Murray turns in a few more impressive starts.

Felix has been effective coming off the bench in the past.

Anything to keep Choice off the field.

He had some flashes as a rookie. He scored on his first ever attempt, had a KO return for a TD. He's had some nice games.

Hopefully Garrett does what Jimmy used to do. If you're the starter and you get hurt, you better hope your back up doesn't play better because if he does he'll start over you.

It's common sense.

Come on man, he's had quite a few really impressive moments. He averaged almost 9 yds per carry as a rookie and almost 6 yds per carry in 2009. He also had nearly 150 yds rushing the playoff win vs Philly.

Nothing as awesome as today, but he has had some really good moments and has flashed alot of skill.

I didnt say anything about giving Jones anything. Play whomever is better.

Personally I think he probably is betetr as the 3rd down/2nd back who spells the #1 guy and has a hgue role in the 3rd down offense. he's an exceptional receiver, runs draws well and is outstanding at blitz pickup
