Supposedly Clinton (or someone in the administration) asked Libya for permission to use their airspace, but there hasnt been word yet on whether 1) they agreed, and then O said we couldnt use the military or 2) they said no, in which case we have royally fucked up giving them any help whatsoever the past yr. Interesting. It's a bad situation but the msm is obviously going to cover-up at least until after the election. The WH spent 2 weeks perpetuating this ''protest due to a youtube video" excuse all the while knowing it was a terror group. They at least wanted to downplay the fact we had an embassy attacked and 4 killed on 9-11 by an al quaeda group, and possibly even more to it than that.

But even with the revelation of the email within 2 hrs of the attack the msm has spent more time on a senate debate and a question/answer regarding abortion. It'd be nice if this country didn't have govt run news agencies.

Probably should put this in the voter fraud thread, but apparently there are real questions on why so few of the 800k or so absentee ballots have been returned there. Speculation is now that alot of those people are going to go vote at the polls, then submit the absentee ballots anyway. My guess is 99% of those are union ballots.

The evidence for this is overwhelming, yet it is the year’s best-kept secret. Mitt Romney would not be throwing virtually all of his past positions overboard if he thought the nation were ready to endorse the full-throated conservatism he embraced to win the Republican nomination.

If conservatism were winning, does anyone doubt that Romney would be running as a conservative? Yet unlike Ronald Reagan and Barry Goldwater, Romney is offering an echo, not a choice. His strategy at the end is to try to sneak into the White House on a chorus of me-too’s.

The right is going along because its partisans know Romney has no other option. This, too, is an acknowledgment of defeat, a recognition that the grand ideological experiment heralded by the rise of the tea party has gained no traction. It also means that conservatives don’t believe that Romney really believes the moderate mush he’s putting forward now.
