Romney talking about Obama's "apology tour" while avoiding Israel was also very effective. Obama stating navy basically obsolete probably won't play well in Norfolk, VIRGINIA

Obama's attempt at wiggling out of that was pretty pathetic. His answer was that he went to Israel while he was a presidential candidate? WGAS? The question was, why did you go to all these Muslim countries, AS PRESIDENT, and ignore our biggest ally in the region. All the while talking about America dictating to others, etc... Romney dry fucked him hard and bloody during that segment.

One thing that sticks out to me is Romney complaining about overspending but then turns around and wants to throw 7 more trillion at the military. I get that he's playing to his base but don't you guys know that? Isn't it obvious?

I'm all for a strong military. It may be the single biggest reason I considered myself a Republican the first 25 years of my life. But $7 trillion? with this deficit? really?

I dont know that he said they were going to spend 7 trillion on the military. Wasnt Obama referring to his continued failed understanding of the 5 trillion in tax cuts plus the additional 2 trillion in military spending that he claims the military doesnt want. However what the military has stated is they cant afford the 1+ trillion Obama wants to cut immediately from their budget.

That said, having a very strong military is something I totally support, and is the #1 function of the government for us. We saw what massive cuts to the military did under Carter.
