One thing that sticks out to me is Romney complaining about overspending but then turns around and wants to throw 7 more trillion at the military. I get that he's playing to his base but don't you guys know that? Isn't it obvious?

I'm all for a strong military. It may be the single biggest reason I considered myself a Republican the first 25 years of my life. But $7 trillion? with this deficit? really?

Agreed, I am naturally hawkish as all hell, but make your 7 trillion out of the shitty programs and overseas deployments. And no more wars.

I watch the last 40 mins, and apparently that was the most exciting. But from what I saw he managed to come out ahead without constantly attacking the president which I think will do more for him than slamming the guys head in a car door and being the winner at debating. He is not auditioning for debater and chief.
