The shorter passes are different, but we know for a fact that it's still Garrett's playbook because the local Garrett-loving reporters made sure to repeat it 1000 times so their boy could still get some credit when the offense looked good.

I don't know what was up with it today. I know Tony said the Giants were playing tons of deep coverage last week, which they never did before. My guess before re-watching the game today is that the Chiefs liked the way that limited the big play and basically did the same thing.

Everything looks different to me, maybe it's just me.

Short routes and throws, nothing to the middle if the field.

It's a brilliant game plan two weeks in a row to stop this offense. Umbrella coverage and dare Dallas to beat you on the ground and with short passes. If teams don't get cute and change it up, my prediction of 7 wins may look a little generous.

We are back to Romo over thinking the game..this shit of running the clock down to zero is killing me

We were promised it would change

It started fast and then we went away from it. The chiefs train at a high intensity. They run more plays in practice. The tempo they practice at is intense. I said we must contain Poe and the OLBs. We contained only one aspect.

Dunbar's fumble should have been challenged.

We were screwed on a couple of plays. Holding? I guess it is allowed unless a midget hits a guy in the knees and makes a desperate grab right in front of the ref.

Did you know that Callahan is still calling Red's plays, not the ones he drew up in Oakland?

I've seen that referred to, but the vast majority of the pass plays look little like the patterns we are used to seeing.

There's definitely more west coast offense look to the passing game. And the run game development is a joke.

And dbair, isn't it funny how when Garrett's offense sucks, it's because of the players... But when Callahan's sucks (of Garrett's that Callahan is calling), it's because of the coaching.

I've said I think Garrett was handicapped somewhat by an awful OL. I also admitted the run blocking under Callahan doesn't appear any better after two games.

And I also said in one of these posts I'm not sure ultimately how much blame you pin on Callahan, because its apparent Romo is calling and/or changing almost all the plays himself.

That said, the pass and run game design looks terrible to me.

Right now Romo ranks 25th in the league in yds per attempt, and ranks tied for 4th in passing attempts.

I don't want to defend Romo either but having an injury to the rib cage area has to have some affect on being accurate. You can't tell me he isn't hurting.

Now, on the other hand his decision making with changing plays or who he decides to throw to are because he can't read a God damn blitz. If he wasn't so fat he could scramble out of the pocket and gain some yards. He's eating way too many tacos lately.

How can anyone blame this loss on anyone other than Romo?

I don't get it.

This team needs juice on offense. A spark. The easiest way to do that is to make a change at QB. It can spark the entire franchise.

No options to turn to now. But need to draft a QB ASAP

This team is def in trouble if y'all are trying to hand the keys to the offense back to Ginger. Plus, we already have injury woes just 14 days into the season?

The Romo hate is super knee-jerky. Some of y'all are much smarter than that. Romo is still a top 10-12 QB. Def better than Flacco and Eli, so it's obvious that this team has much worse issues. Like I said yesterday, you could bring a top 5 QB in here and he'd fail. The system and power structure in Dallas is broken.

We're finally entering a phase where everything Parcells brought here is slowly dissipating.

Romo usually sucks this early in the season. So this isn't anything new.

He usually figures it out.

The rest of the team played well enough for us to destroy KC yesterday. Romo didn't

Nothing will ever change until Romo is gone and Jones is dead.

You cant eliminate Romo from the equation without having a viable option on the team

They just gave him 100 MILIION DOLLARS

That's what almost everyone does on this fucking team. They get an extension and then mail it in.

If Jerry likes Andy Reid so much why didn't he hire him?

Oh, that's right, he's got to prove to everyone that Garrett wasn't a mistake. You know, try to hammer a square peg into a round hole.
