It's funny when people see they aren't gonna beat him around the edge and then try to bullrush him. He just swallows them.

I don't think he's 20 either. Dude looks like he's 37.
That replay where he just pushed gamble out of the play was impressive.....it looked way too easy..

Can murray hurryup and get healthy so we can get two backs who can explode through these seams.

I cant wait to see Felix and Murray running behind that zone line scheme.

If Smith ever gets his footwork "right," he's gonna be one scary offensive tackle. He's handled almost every guy he's faced in two preseason games with it "wrong," and he's only been a professional for, what, three weeks?

I thought the defense looked exactly like it did last year, but I'm gonna re-watch a couple of times before I say anything else.

Tyron Smith needs to get better with his footwork. Other than that he's been playing well.

That's the thing with this kid, his arms are so long and he's so quick that he recovers quickly and he can still get to his man if initially beat. Just wait till he's a seasoned veteran and has mastered his technique.

Dude's going to make tons of pro-bowls even if he is just competent because so far the analysts love to talk about him, and that's all you need on the Oline.

No one will say because most fans of this tea are Johnny come lately idiots,a but Stephen and Jerry telling jax we don't want your trade on draft was a great move. Thankfully they took the plAyer they wanted instead of selling us how great a trade is for the future.....they will never get credit for it,but that's ok.

I understand not wanting to take that risk. If they felt Tyron wasn't going to last and that guys like Solder, Carimi, and Castonzo weren't close, then you absolutely pass up the trade and draft your guy. Jerry doesn't make too many mistakes in the 1st round anymore. It's his 2nd and 3rd round drafting that drives me crazy.

I don't know about that. But we do at least hit if we have a top 10 pick, which is more than alot of teams can say. Hi Buffalo and Oakland.

Personally, I don't think Jerry has much to do with it anymore. Yes I know call me a moron or whatever, but I don't think he is in that role anymore. I think Garrett even said as much in his wayt the first week of camp when he explained the front office when pressed on free agents.......he said the scouts and the coaches evaluated players and then would bring Jerry and Stephen in on the financial part of it......

That was a huge statement i think.....it went right over every ones head though......some people will never buy that Jerry is not actually selecting players, but personally I believe that and this year more than ever. I think stephen and Jason are on the same page and with Judd Garrett on the scouting staff it's really the scouts and coaches running personnel.

Too many interviews where Jerry talks about him having to control everything, about his decisions, him wanting this or that player. I just believe it always comes down to him and his ego. I believe he now accepts more input then ever but if it came down to a guy Garrett wanted and a guy Jerry wanted, I still think we get Roy Williams, I mean the guy Jerry wants.

I think Garrett's calm, disciplined approach is the best thing that has happened to this team in a whole but I still think the final say on acquiring personnel is Jerry's. I know Garrett is offensive-minded but I know he had to wonder how many times that defense took his offense right out of games. Yet he only adds 2 (affordable) players and brings back one of the biggest culprits (Sensabaugh) ? I just don't see it.

Murray misses more games due to injury this year, than he has touchdowns or hundred yard games.

I find it funny how aj smith in San Diego is applauded for bringing back 11 players but losing sproles and Burnett. In Dallas ahe would have been killed for that.

It's all perception. Just like mike lombardi this morning completely flipping his view on the eagles performance against the steelers. Last week when the eagles played well and said it was very important for the starters to play well because of all the new faces.......now today he says it was a great thing that they struggled because Reid can now be mean to them and help them focus........its all about perception. Lombardi is obsessed with Reid and belichick. He will spin whatever happens with them into a positive because of the way he views them.

It's all perception and for what it's worth I agree struggling in the preseason can be a positive sometimes.

I dont expect 100 yard games from him....just a handful of explosive plays each game, catching the ball, rushing it or hopefully returning it.

Sorry if this has been asked already, but where was Dwayne Harris last night?

He played and was targeted once. He also fair caught a punt.

Pretty much solidified his roster spot with that performance, IMO.

Three concerns from last night.

Bailey still can't kick the ball into the end zone with the 5 extra yards? That scares me.

Lonyae Miller is nothing special.

Sensabaugh reacts poorly to too many deep balls, he guesses wrong a lot. Don't tell me about the almost interception either. That was about as poor a throw as I've seen a NFL QB attempt.

Three things I liked.

Tanner is trying to win a job. He at least makes the Practice Squad.

Tyron freakin Smith.

Always like Romo improvising and finding his BFF Witten for a score.

One prediction
AOA makes the team. He is raw but there's something about him.
