The time for a Super Bowl appearance is now! No more excuses. The team is in place to not only make an appearance but to win it all now. Dak Prescott must rise to the occasion and deliver. No more lip service and towing the company line. No more corporate speak about how it’s on me. Don’t want to hear it any longer. Just deliver the trophy back to Dallas. This team will live or die by how Dak Prescott performs at QB. Time to step it up DK and deliver.

Unfortunately, the window is closing fast on any future SB appearances. They've reached a crossroads & will need to decide whether Dak has what it takes to take them to the SB. This might be a make-or-break season for Dak, but the Jerry & Co. could be reluctant to start a full rebuild & give him a short-term contract, similar to what the Vikings have done with Cousins.

They have a strong nucleus of young star players w/Parsons & Lamb etc..., Jerry shouldn’t be afraid to explore other options if Dak doesn’t deliver this season. Two loses to San Fran in the playoffs is enough for this fanbase w/Dak at the helm.

They don't need to live because of Prescott, he just can't be the reason they die.

He's played terrible in the last two playoff losses and was quite arguably the sole reason they lost both times.

Cowboys Official Website Makes Pollard Contract Prediction

The Dallas Cowboys have until just Monday to ink a long-term deal with Tony Pollard, and doing so would prove he's the ballcarrier of the future for the franchise. But as CowboysSI.com has noted, in this time of "the devaluation of the running back,'' there's a real possibility that Monday comes and goes without a big payday for Pollard.
And it seems the team's official website and its staff at DallasCowboys.com predicts the same, suggesting the franchise tag will have to suffice for 2023.

"Prediction: No deal," DallasCowboys.com wrote. "It just makes too much sense for both sides. There has been franchise tag drama in the past around the league and in Dallas, but don't expect Pollard to be next in that line."
Pollard is slated to make $10 million on his one-year deal - far more than he's made in his career combined. So while other players like Saquon Barkley of the Giants fight off franchise tags, Pollard is still in a comfortable spot.
"For the Cowboys, evaluating Pollard in 2023 for the future will be important given his return from a major leg injury suffered in January and his first full season as the starter," DallasCowboys.com concluded.

We've been told that the leg injury is a non-issue. Still ... Can Pollard sustain his success this fall? If the answer is yes, he's staring down the barrel of a long-term (if not "big'') contract. If the answer is no, there is a Dallas escape hatch.

I don't care how many times you change play callers, the decision making mechanism between Dak's ears is gonna eventually lead to offensive failure.
Be it a missed run for a first down, a wide open streaking down the sideline Hilton(last year) or any number of other multiple gaffes he shows when ya watch his film, the man ***** the bed in real time when the pressure's on.
And to add he would hafta beat 3 to 4 consecutive playoff defenses and coaching staffs...?
Color me skeptical at best.

COME ON DEEE FENSE!
I mean, SleepNumber will need you to fully carry him to even sniff a Lombardi. LOL

In many ways Dak is like Romo. When you need him the most he delivers the least. Super Bowl winning QB’s have that little something that separates them from the others. I consider Dak to be a good QB. I just don’t believe he is great and has what it takes to bring us a Super Bowl trophy. I pray that I am wrong.

Both SB winning DC quarterbacks kept the KISS principle top of mind. Keep It Simple Stupid. Romo and Dak, no. Their heads are filled with so much shit they can't function in a pinch. When the moment of truth comes they shit the bed because study long study wrong.

Another Cowboy in the Hall that Jerry doesn't even have on the ole Ring of Honor. (Jimmy Johnson) The only thing missing from his resume is a Super Bowl ring won in Dallas. But that is not his fault at all.

If the Cowboys could not put it together enough on the field to win a championship during his tenure in Dallas, then they can at least honor him properly!
