I don't agree they don't care about it. If they didn't care about they'd just trot out journeymen 1yr deal free agents and UDFA's.

They tried to draft players there and have used 2nd day picks on them quite a bit recently They just haven't drafted many good ones.

I think Odiggi has a chance to still pan out and be a decent player. He has shown real flashes. Hill should have never been drafted where he was (if at all) and probably was just because of Marinelli, not because of some failure of the scouting department. Gallimore is the one that burns a little right now because he clearly regressed last yr and appears to be in Quinn/McCarthy's dog house. I wonder if he might be sent packing this weekend as part of a trade up or just late rd pick give away for some team that still thinks he has upside.

Address offense heavy in draft and trade for a veteran DT that makes a difference.

ideally, i think DAL needs to get a non-RB playmaker on offense and by all accounts, it is a weak WR draft... fat mike been saying he values TE more now than before, and the TE has to be able to be a pass catcher

so i would be happy w/ WR or TE .. BUT if you pick a TE, you need to throw passes to that dude, not just have him block. and mike's comments kind've back that up

i trust whatever player DQ favors on defense if they go D in the 1st round

can't go wrong w/ OL either i suppose... its like getting socks and underwear for xmas

Don't be surprised if they go after an RB, such as Rijan Robinson. More & more teams are utilizing multiple runners in the backfield to keep everyone fresh. Adding a workhorse back of Robinson’s caliber is too much to pass up.

I'd also add if they draft any of these guys, I'll be relatively happy. I would also be happy with Mayer if they took him.

I think they could get Avila, McDonald or Washington after a small trade down and still get an extra 3rd or 4th rd pick.

May as well lay it out there to our 6 regular posters to decide. Do we want to use this thread to discuss the draft for the next 3 days or should we use the 2023 NFL Draft Thread and maybe we move it temporarily.

These are important decisions. Think through it carefully.
