Dooley was named OC at Missouri. Probably a good move for him if he wants to try and be a college HC again.

Marinelli reportedly considering retiring now.

Am assuming Eberflus would get the DC job if he leaves, although there were reports that said he was in line to go to New England.

So who if Marinelli quits and Eberflus leaves? What about Del Rio as DC? Old Jimmy player so of course there's the Jerry connection.

Honestly, I think he was a pretty good HC.

Hope somebody paid for premium content to get this info.

LOL, Fish isn't worth a dime. Although, he does deserve credit for finally killing off Scout.com The Ranch. He may not know it, or believe it, but that forum is dead. Who knew it needed 5countem5 to keep it going? It needed his unique brand of trolling. People just loved to hate him at that place. :biggrin

Eberflus probably thinks for himself...by the sound of it. Smart move to go to the Patriots. Great career move.

There are a few good coordinators that run good defenses and could help the Cowboys. Todd Wash, Dennis Thurman, George Edwards and the dreaded Jim Swartz. Hardnosed Gregg Williams could be had also. All a serious upgrade.

Del Rio's a 3-4 guy, he was never wild about the 4-3 and wasn't a upfield pressure believer. Still stuck on the old "read and react" shit.

Del Rio is certainly not a good fit in Dallas and has proven not to be a great coach.

Legitimate tough guy/overall badass. He's a 3-4 guy too but that's the norm these days. Has played in both systems and excelled. Like his coaching too.

Why do you say that? They were a 43 at Jacksonville and when he coached in Baltimore.

He could run a hybrid Defense. Personally, I like the Cowboy invented 4-3 with some modern modifications.

Always amazes me that Everson Walls never became a coach. The 4 Head Coaches he played under during his career were Landry, Jimmy Johnson, Parcells and Belichick.

That is an amazing list. Two X's and O's geniuses, and two motivational geniuses.
