From what I heard Kiffin is not a Gruden Kind of Guy, so GKG didn't register a thing.

Oh, and screw all of you. Hataz.

I seriously doubt this happens but the only reason it could be done this way is that someway somehow, Jerry is trying to get Garrett to quit

That's a fair point and Jones is simply going to have to try harder. The red-headed tick is embedded too deeply to be run off by a handful of position coach changes.

I can think of many worse things Jerry has done, and he's not getting anyone worth a shit with a staff already put together (see Switzer, Gailey). So Gruden isn't coming here. This is almost as bad and the "Hey do you think Jimmy might come back now???" threads we see every year.

Gruden isn't going to come in with a staff already put together by the league's worst GM.

He actually has pride.

Unless he's been consulting with Jerruh all along and instructing him who should be here.

thats been overplayed by some forum goers as a reason to say Gruden isnt happening, but Gruden and Kiffin have said there is no rift

I'm probably in the minority around here, but I like Garrett as our head coach.

Yeah but no Garrett supporter can actually provide reasons for why they like him. Like watching a gay guy try to explain why he likes cock. It's just platitudes and misplaced hope.

Yeah they can. Don't you remember? Hos can SEE his intangibles. Also, what he *could* do is more than enough fact-based evidence than what he's actually done.

I think they're still mesmerized by his 1st PC. Just him standing at a podium, decked out in a fine suit, singing sweet nothings; they have this idea in their mind that that's what a great coach should look like. And I can't say I blame them after having to share with them the poor image produced by Wade Phillips.

A lot of people like Garrett as HC. Mort even said he thought Garrett as a walk around HC was the best fit.

I'll admit that he hasn't lived up to expectations. But lets see how he does in yr 3...if dez can figure it out in yr 3...maybe Jason can too
