Yeah but no Garrett supporter can actually provide reasons for why they like him. Like watching a gay guy try to explain why he likes cock. It's just platitudes and misplaced hope.

Class, pure class.

I'm probably in the minority around here, but I like Garrett as our head coach.

I like him better as a HC than a HC/OC.

I do think he got the team to play hard in spite of injuries. Teams have quit in Dallas before for a lot less.

Moving him out of the playcalling role is good...I just wish they had gone outside of the org and injected some new blood on the offensive side.

My question is.....will having his playcalling duties removed lessen his authority in the eyes of the team?

So what happened with the Jones was meeting Gruden again story? I think there were two people who actually reported it.

You do have to wonder if its simply a coincidence that so many of the asst coaches have ties to Jon Gruden. Kiffin, Marinelli, Besaccia & obviously Callahan. Even QB coach Wade Wilson has ties to Gruden, he played for him in Oakland in 98/99.

Perhaps Jones is thinking that even if he sticks with Garrett for this year, if he has to fire him after this season it makes sense to have guys who would be tied to Gruden (or maybe Lovie Smith) if that is indeed the guys he is interested in as potential HC's. You do save money from not having to buy out a slew of assistants if the guys currently here are guys the new HC would want.

Maybe all these hires are a way to make people forget about Romo's meltdown against the Redskins? They're doing a fine job so far.

Let me get this straight. Had Romo played all pro that game and we had won. Who exactly was gonna play the next week?

Romo had broken ribs so Orten

The only Receiver still standing at the end of the game was Tree

The Defense was still very bad and got worse as we lost additional people during the game.

So at the end of the game, had we finished 9 and 7 and won the East and had a home play off game the next week.

We would have lost in such a fashion that you'd be making this same post. Only it wouldn't be the Skins, it would be Seattle.
