Awful analogies aside.. its not a low standard at all to be pleased with almost a fully new OL holding up so well against one of the best pass rushes in the game, and having a secondary raveged by injury and full of 3rd stringers force some TO's and only allow 17 points to the Jets offense. They played plenty well enough to win the game, and would have had it not been for Romo. This is a super bowl caliber team, and we played well enough to beat them with 3rd stringers in the secondary. That's not having low standards, that's being realistic about our performance, son.

While I agree with what you said, I did watch the game and I am EVEN MORE pissed now than I was after the game. Those two plays were completely boneheaded and the QB of this team is on a very short leash with me again. Just unacceptable.

Yea the QB with the "great leadership skills" needs to get his head out of his ass, but as far as the OL and DB's, both units played well considering circumstance, imo.

They played better than I thought, I even had a little sympathy for the defense this time. You give this Ryan fatass some decent LB's and DB's, this defense will smoke.
I am excited about the OL. I saw some good and bad. But, I saw , young raw guys playing. That is always a good thing. I couldn't stomach another year of lazy play from the old linemen they had and STILL making the same fucking mistakes the young guys are making. WIth the young guys, there is a future.
