I'm interested in reading dbair's reaction.

We have to hope for the best. I haven't seen all the particulars of the deal but it sounds like both sides got a good deal.

Not going to change my original opinion though, in that I think trading him for a significant package of picks and moving on (if such a deal would have been out there) was the best move not only for today, but several years down the road too.

It's sad that the fan base, the media, and now even the damn quarterback himself, has to point out to the Front Office that the O Line needs to be addressed.

It isn't that its never addressed, its that when we do it doesn't work (with a few exceptions)

Going out and getting Brandon Moore and maybe Eric Winston before the draft would be a step in the right direction though, and we apparently have more than enough space to sign both now.

I think it depends on who would end up available. They could potentially move Bernadeau to C and have Moore start at one G. Then if someone like Cooper or Warmack fell in our lap, draft them at 18 and cut Livings after 7-1 (along with Free)

Moore wont really command much of a major investment either.
