I hate the guy and think he'd be a terrible HC hire but why would he want to take this job when Witten is forced on the staff and he knows Jerry wants to dump him asap to insert Witten. It'd be a literal no win situation for him here.

Simple Minded Dak wants this because he can't be expected to learn a new offense. Priority in coaching search for Cowboys:

1) Jones comfortable
2) Dak comfortable
3) Witten set up as next HC no matter what
