It was a witch hunt. Hance and Myers wanted Leach gone at all cost, and used the stupid excuse of him putting an athlete in the shade with water during a practice to run him off at the cost of their football program. It got blown up because his daddy was Craig James and had ties to Hance and was an ESPN analyst. It was nothing but a terrible attempt to get Leach out, saving the university $400k in a bonus and getting him out at the same time. Terrible situation.

And, yeah, it was a bad idea. Set the program back a few years.

BTW, I was privy to the "room" James' son was supposedly locked in. It was a shed right by the football field with a water jug. Trainers were right there with him. Like I said, witch hunt.

such a shame, looks like he's making Washington St competitive after only 2 years, I'm still bummed they ran him off.

Speaking of Texas Tech, I am so pissed I can't go watch Pat Mahomes and the Red Raiders playing right down the road in Tempe on September 10th. We have a home game in Mesa at the exact same time. I will literally be 5 miles away and can't see it.

My only hope is that we play Eastern Arizona that night, an option team, and those games tend to go fast. I might be able to get over there for the 4th quarter.
