This is the most realistic 10-6 scenario IMO...

Giants at Cowboys ----------- WIN
Cowboys at Chiefs ------------ LOSS
Rams at Cowboys-------------- WIN
Cowboys at Chargers -------- WIN
Broncos at Cowboys ---------- LOSS
Redskins at Cowboys ----------WIN
Cowboys at Eagles -------------WIN
Cowboys at Lions----------------WIN
Vikings at Cowboys --------------WIN
Cowboys at Saints ---------------LOSS
Cowboys at Giants ---------------LOSS
Raiders at Cowboys --------------WIN
Cowboys at Bears ----------------WIN
Packers at Cowboys ------------- LOSS
Cowboys at Redskins ------------ LOSS

Swing games with the Rams, Lions and avoiding either a Giant or Redskin sweep will be the determining factors....at least how it looks right now.

I wouldn't be so quick to label a loss to the Broncos. Peyton Manning doesn't do too well against the Cowboys. In fact, has he ever beaten the Cowboys? I believe he's thrown an INT in every game against the Cowboys, especially of late. In fact, Sean Lee's coming out party was against Peyton, and he's had good games against him every since.

Hell, Sean might be in a body cast after the first three games.

I'll be really surprised if the Cowboys win 8 games.

I'm expecting 7-9.

I'm expecting 7-9.

I can also see that easily happening.

Usually our 8-8; 7-9 even 6-10 end up happening because we miscalculated some position on the roster.

I can see the DL being a huge miss after being all over confident about it in April. It's always something when you have bad management.

I see a team that was pretty good 5 or 6 years ago, that's steadily getting older, doing nothing to improve their weakest areas.

What else should we expect?

Draft a TE, that'll get us over the hump in late December. The offensive and defensive lines you say? Safeties? Rubbish.

Right, booze. Imagine if Hatcher gets hurt early... We have no other interior DL that can play.

Or what if Tyron Smith got hurt. Or, God forbid, Romo.

'Course, I'm convinced a huge section of fans wouldn't even care. They'd then have an excuse for why we didn't win it all, which is all they need to be happy.

Yeah TE... teams would generally struggle if some of their best players got injured.

Great point.

This team has a history of terrible seasons when expectations run high. Remember the year that the Cowboys were going to be the first team to win a Super Bowl on their home field? Jerry and the ****** son have already started mumbling about this team having the juice. This season is on the way to bring an epic fail.

Didn't we spend 2 of the last 3 #1 picks to address the weakest area of the team?
