Its stupid, but when my Mom and Dad divorced, my Mom went back to school and was working two jobs, she was short on cash. One time, she picked me up from my Dad's and we were driving back to her house. I was a little shit and begged her to stop at McDonald's for chicken nuggets. Finally she gave in. She handed me a $50 bill and told me to go in and get chicken nuggets.

I bought $50 worth of chicken nuggets. She was pissed, but got a pretty good laugh out of it. Then she was mad again. I didn't know it was her last $50 until she got paid the following week.

That was when I was 7 or so, w
20+ years later I still feel bad about that.
