I’m originally from Lubbock Texas and we moved to California when I was 5 years old. I’m currently 65 years old and my dad and my two brothers raised me to be an avid Cowboys fan. Nowadays my 27 year old son is a bigger Cowboys fan than I am, but his patience is running thin. In the fifth or sixth grade I once stood on top of my desk and yelled Go Cowboys during class.

The challenge I’m proposing to you all is to boycott all Cowboys games at home and on the road. I also propose not buying a single stitch of Cowboys apparel or memorabilia until Jerry Jones and the Jones family make a serious effort to winning or sell the team. The STUPID decisions being made, whether it be coaching decisions, getting a real GM and getting serious in the free agent market have pushed me to this point. I’ll probably continue to watch and root for them on TV but they are not getting another dime of my hard earned cash. Let’s hit Jerruh where it hurts him the most, his wallet. Anyone care to join me?

I have been that way for years. Jerry doesn't get a nickle from me. My viewing habits aren't used for ratings. Us not buying gear isn't going to hurt Jerry in the least. Plenty of others will and last I heard the team was printing a 400 million dollar PROFIT annually. As far as boycotting games wont hurt either because opposing fans will go and fill up the stadium while eating his over priced shitty food, Now corporate clients not renewing suites might get his attention but those are used as tax write offs so..... Hurting him financially would be tough. Now hurting his ego is possibility. That would happen by by the team being bad enough and boring enough that the networks starting flexing them out of prime time games and their rating start to drop. The reality is hurting them enough to change his ways is unlikely. I don't blame your son for getting tired of this shit. If I wasn't older than dirt and lived through the 70s and 90s glory days, I doubt I would ever been a fan of this current shit show.

Yeh you’re probably right about hurting him financially. He must be a glutton for punishment having to answer tough questions in post game press conferences after yet another loss. Actually I think Jerruh loves the camera even if it’s for a negative reason. This is a truly shitty product not worthy of the prices being charged.

Commend you for trying to do something, but honestly with PSL's and TV contracts there's almost nothing the average fan can do to put any dent into their money machine.

I don't have the actual numbers, but I suspect a lot of the money he gets from tickets is tied to corporate buyers. Those people won't dump those. The average Joe season ticket holder simply puts his tickets on some forum and sells them if they dont go. The stadium has rarely been FULL of Cowboy fans. Fans of other teams always have 1000's and 1000's in the stands because the stupid place is too big.

And even if NOBODY came to the stadium, I doubt he'd lose money because of the billions in TV/broadcasting deals coming in. Not buying Cowboys "stuff" also has a limited impact in the grand scheme of things.

Personally I have not been to a game in person in years. I live in Atlanta and went to a game years ago here. The last game I attended in person in Dallas was either 2013 or 2015 v Seattle and I never went back again (hated the atmosphere at the new shithole, most of the people in the section where we sat had no idea what the score was or even who was winning- NOT KIDDING). But it doesnt matter because Jerry has a massive cash cow that will never stop.

I'm with you brother, been doing this for years but we're lone wolves that make no impact

hope springs eternal with too many fans allowing Jerri to get away with bloody murder for decades (and the rest of his life)

RIP Cowboys

Let’s face it we’re stuck with Jerruh until he dies or enters a posh old folks home. My suggestion to boycott games and buying gear probably wouldn’t make a difference in the short term. However, it might make an impression of Stephen Jones and the other Jones kids over the long term. What do we long time loyal fans have to lose?

i havent been buying anything either for a while and i dont attend any games... but what i do have are ideas

i would nominate daboyz to take one for the team by putting on a go pro and starting a sex scandal w/ jerry, but we've seen that sex scandals dont work on jerry

BUT i think a GAY SEX scandal might work! therefore, i would nominate scot to take one for the team since he is the gayest male DCU member that i know of because lives in CA

cmon scot lets see your dedication, get it done in oxnard this year !!!

We will pass the hat around the DCU and take up a collection to compensate for the above scheme. Only qualifier is the scheme must work and we must be rid of Jones and Spawns forever. We pay for success here.

Not to add insult to injury, but I just heard yesterday on ESPN that the fecals had more rushing touchdowns last week than the cowboys had all year 😳

Yep, that's true.

Also true, Dan Quinn defense.

Is it me or did it seem like the only guys playing hard on defense were Overshown and Parsons?
DLaw always gives 1000%, unfortunately he missed almost all the yr and might have played his last game for us.

Jourdain Lewis gives max effort every play. Seemed like Liufau was always going full bore. Chauncey Golston and Osa are high energy/effort guys. Kneeland seems like he's a high motor guy.

This why I hate some/most Dallas fans and Texans in general. The dipshit that posted this bought season tickets 15 years ago which was Garrett's first year. He bought the bullshit hook, line and sinker and now he's fed up? He can fuck off. And any pussies in Texas too. Sniveling idiots.....pussies. Give Texas back to Mexico.

It's not a question of who you root for. We all root for Dallas. But we're vocal about our despise for the way things are run in Dallas and have been for years. We don't sit on the sidelines like the media or the idiots in Texas who spent 6 digits on seat licenses and then have to still buy the season tickets.

There were some "fans" and I won't mention names who would tell people for years before they ran like sheep that this was how every team was run. Fuck these fans and fuck Texas.

Now if you meant when do I start to give Texas back to Mexico.....immediately.

Maybe the fan you slammed couldn’t afford season tickets until 15 years ago? I’m a lifelong Cowboys fan and I’m just as disgusted as you are with the way the team is ran, I guess I’m just not as negative as you towards fans.

It's not a question of being able to afford the tickets. My point is that fans living in Dallas fed this BS for years and that dolt just got rid of his season tickets now although he thought it was a good idea to purchase them when Jerry gave the HC job to an incompetent ass kisser. In other words, the team is where it's at because fans and the spineless Dallas media didn't hold Jerry accountable. My ire is mainly focused on Dallas fans living in Texas. They're pussies just like the Dallas media. They let Jerry and his spawn skate for years. Anyone just waking up now is/was part of the problem.

I’m a Cowboys fan living in California, so I have no perspective on local Cowboys fans
