I hope he announces it right before Philly takes the field just to fuck with them.

It made sense. Just like it made sense for Jerry to ask McCarthy to do it, but McCarthy balked and then bailed.

I'm sure the ONLY reason McCarthy did it is because he thought he was a shoo-in for the Bears or Saints jobs. The Bears didnt want him and the Saints are requesting 2nd interviews with at least 4 or 5 other candidates.

Was a hot HC candidate last yr, now he's fired and was highly criticized all year.

Some organizations don't want to settle for mediocre I guess.
