So, I stated my opinion which still applies much like I think Dez caught it but the "rules" disagree with both of my takes

The Dez catch was correctly called on the field and thr league later admitted that. There was never any question of the Butch catch. Not back then and not now. But I guarantee you I was scared shitless they were gonna disallow that TD at the time it happened live. So I know exactly what you're saying.

#1 game of all time for this fan, I had so much pent up hate for the Niners and the never ending "Catch" being rammed up our collective asses for the decade prior. My level of anxiety was only surpassed by my joy once they secured the W.
Gawd, those were the days..fortunately I relished every minute of it
