#1 game of all time for this fan,
Probably mine as well. It's hard to beat the Super Bowl wins, but this game was it.

Not a lot of people thought we would win "they're good but next year is their year" and we proved to everyone that day we were truly great.

I still say to this day the 2nd half of the 92 Championship and the first half of the 93 Championship might be the most perfect 60 minutes of football I've ever witnessed.

Yep. You had to live through the pain of The Catch to truly appreciate the victory.

Kind of puts into perspective of just how LONG it's been since we were really, really good.

This person is completely clueless why the Niners kicked a PAT to make the score 24-20 instead of going for 2 to try and make it 24-21.

Great work Jerry.

Gawd, those were the days..fortunately I relished every minute of it
I recorded that game and the SB on my top shelf Sony VCR with - get this: the TV network sound in the left channel and the COWBOYS RADIO BROADCAST in the right channel!

So I had ALL the commentary and could listen as I pleased on playback. Meanwhile in my house watching live, I had the radio commentary on the hi-fi. Brad Sham and Dale Hansen and about eight friends and their wives and girlfriends in attendance. There was great food plenty of cold beer and the whole place smelled like.... Victory!

I went to the pep rally before that game and it was awesome, over 60,000 fans showed up at Texas Stadium, the town went nuts and was on a high I've never seen before or since. Here's an article about it I pulled from the Dallas Morning News Achives online

Damn, you took it up a notch, we'd turn down the TV broadcast and listen to Sham, et al but you couldn't lose either way considering Summerall and Madden were doing the TV broadcast

I'll never forget driving down Greenville avenue after the Super Bowl game, took an hour to drive a mile, people were going nuts including the gals, the joy was off the charts

Yep this was the first year of doing that, Summerall/Madden was the only TV comment team I felt like I couldn't miss since Cosell. But I loved the radio guys and if the game wasn't Madden/Summerall it was the TV sound mute and the stereo receiver up!

Turn this on for a few mins the very first thing I see?

Chiefs RT lined up a good YARD or so off te LOS (no call on back to back plays) and then a truly God awful roughing the passer call that negated a 3rd down stop.

The Chiefs are the absolute biggest sham fucking team in league history. This team would be lucky to be just above .500 without the damn refs

And so it begins. Chiefs shouldn't even have another 3 points. Rougher the passer my arz. He was in motion. What's the defender supposed to do, stop in mid air?!

NFL "we're all about player safety, we're gonna eliminate the hip drop tackle"

Texans TE clearly gets hip dropped and now it's "oh wait it was a Chiefs player so we didnt see that"
