We'd be stupid to pay him THAT kind of money. He's not at all special.
Are you watching the same Parsons I’m watching? In my eyes he’s special. Do I wish he didn’t run his mouth as a blogger? Absolutely! Do I wish we weren’t overpaying Dak to the tune of $60 million a year? Yes. Nick Bosa is making $34 million a year and I think Parsons is a bigger problem for offenses. If we can’t afford to pay him $35 million a year or a little less we should trade him. I believe he has monster value as trade bait.

I watch him disappear completely when the opponent wants him to. Each and every time. This doesn't happen to the truly special ones. The big guys push him around and opponents scheme him out of games.

As great as Bosa is I often see him taking plays off at the end of games when his team needs him most. I guess you and I just see Parsons differently. I’m not saying you’re wrong but I see max effort from him.

I never said anything about his effort. Never had a problem with his effort. But we can replace him with any one of 4 or 5 guys who are in this draft. I just don't think he is elite or even overly special. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to disappear him whenever they want. Like, entire 4th quarter for example? See it every time we're up against a quality opponent. He makes splash plays and has a lot of hype around him and to me that makes him more valuable as trade bait then what his 40-plus million contract would be

Check out the regularity he draws double teams

In fact the only guy I have ranked ahead of him is Myles Garrett

So, the question is shop for a trade first or sign him to the silly number. I'm looking to move him if I can, finding someone in the league who thinks this is the next coming of LT.
With the ass clown ownership taking their time signing Micah I tend to suspect they may be shopping him around. However, their slowness signing Dak and Cee Dee shows a pattern and like the other two Jerruh and company may be waiting to sign Parsons so they can spend more than they have to

Most likely BS, but there have been murmurs about potentially moving Parsons since the end of the season.

You'd have to think if we are moving into the #1 spot it's for Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter.

That would be monumentally stupid. You only move to #1 for a QB unless you gave a real QB already on your roster. And even then I'm not sure I'd do it. I'd trade Parsons and try to negotiate picks in next years draft and hope a franchise QB is there for the taking.

He's obviously not in the league now, but the same guy who coached Taylor made the statement that Parsons was the closest thing he has seen to LT since then.

Me too.

If they were to flip Parsons for the 1st pick and maybe something else, then trade the 1st down to 4-9 and get as many picks this yr and next yr. Deal would almost assuredly include 2026 1st rd pick and other stuff. Next years QB class looks like a substantial improvement over this years.

Like him or hate him. Jerry"s not trading his prize bull. Many forget Parsons missed 4 games last season but still finished among the NFL leaders in sacks, tied for 5th in the league & 1st in the NFC with 12.

By hitting the double-digits mark, Parsons joined an exclusive group of NFL legends like Dwight Freeney, Derrick Thomas & Reggie White by recording at least 10 sacks in each of their first 4 seasons.

I'm thinking roughly $33 million per in that extension. He deserves it. 2021 NFL Defensive ROY & was a Pro Bowler in each of his 1st four seasons.

That's the stuff that blinds the Jerry's of the world. 90% of these numbers come against inferior opponents... He doesn't do shit against quality opponents.
