Two FG's from 58 and another from 53. The "short" one was 49. The two from 58 probably would have been good from 65 or more.

Dude might be the best kicker in league history and he isnt even two yrs into his NFL Career.

Lawson has really turned into a quality role player. Hope we keep him for 2025.

This is an all-pro caliber LT that he destroys here.

What a weapon. This was the first of the two 58yd FG's. Both of them were no doubters that probably would have been from 65 or longer.

Great play but they should have called it dead when Mayfield was int he grasp. But I'll take it.
I think they did away with the in the grasp rule because it wasn't fair to emerging "dual threat" quarterbacks.

Tanking is for the ultimate losers. In the end it I think we moved from 11th (had we lost) to 15th.

I will never understand why dumbass fans think most professional players and coaches would make no effort to win. Some of these guys are playing or coaching for jobs next year somewhere (some here)

I also love it that Jourdan Lewis basically came out after the game and gave a big FUCK YOU to fans who think it's cool idea to "tank"

I thoroughly expected us to get blown out last night. They arn't a good team and overall have had a disastrous, injury ravaged season. But they played their asses off last night just hours after learning their season was officially over. They deserve some props for that.

you dont have to tank as far as effort but why not play everyone on the back end of the roster and the QB you traded a 4th round pick for and let the chips fall where they may?

I'll never understand why teams, especially Dallas, don't take this approach

Its a win-win because if these players step up, then you may have found some starters or confirmed better depth. If they dont, you know what you've got and you get a better draft pick in the process

this is my version of "tanking" and seems foolish not to do so

I agree with the sentiment, but we pretty much are already playing everyone at the back end of the roster due to all the injuries.

As for Lance, it was a waste of a pick to trade away, but neither he nor Cooper Rush are under contract for 2025 so what difference does it make which of them plays?

I mean, we kind of are. Half the team is injured.

They have obviously blown it by not looking at Lance, and I really dont understand why Tyler Guyton wouldn't be getting every single rep. Personally I'd rather see Caelen Carson than Oruwariye but he was bad early in the season. Flournoy is getting quite a few reps every week. TJ Bass would probably be playing more but he got hurt. Juanyeh Thomas was starting to get more reps at FS but he got hurt. But who else should be getting reps over the guys we have playing?

Yeah....I haven't heard that (in the grasp) in a while but I've seen the refs blow the whistle to protect the QB. Mayfield was definately stopped and I figured the refs would blow the whistle.

to confirm he's a bust and not waste any more time or cap on him? If they know he's not good enough, why keep him on the roster?

I dont know why Im even wasting keystrokes asking q's about this org, no answer will matter with buffoon jones and spawn

Players and HCs don't tank, GMs do. It's done all the time (they just don't admit to it). CD Lamb could have been sat. Why risk a season-ending injury for a meaningless game? How would you feel if Lamb is out next year, similar to Overshown, just to win a meaningless game?

You put in a Trey Lance and you tell him to play hard. Players like Rush are not playing for anything other than a new contract. Of course they want to put their best effort. It's not pride, it's greed. They literally have millions on the line. Rush probably added 2 million to his next contract.

As Bryan Broaddus pointed out, other teams are going to poach the Cowboys now.

A smart organization thinks ahead, A stupid organization and DUMBASS FANS think for today. Stupid people can't see beyond their nose.

I think the 49ers have bigger problems to address, such as an eventual replacement for Trent Williams, and it was very unlikely we'd leapfrog NO regardless of last night's result.
LOL. Okay, remember that when the Niners take that tackle that the Cowboys could have used. Are you confident that the Cowboys hit on Guyton? How good are you with Steele?

According to PFF, Steele has allowed 4 sacks over 6 games. Against Bosa (since we are talking about the Niners) Steele had his lowest pass blocking grade of 8.4. He allowed a sack and 8 pressures

Again, according to PFF, Steele's overall grade is 66, which puts him at 48th among 132 OTs! He's better at run blocking (77.6), but yet the Cowboys aren't a good running team. His pass blocking is 56.3, which puts him 89th.

Steele has 29 pressures allowed. THE SECOND HIGHEST among RTs!

And you want to pretend the Cowboys don't also need a tackle?

Cowboy colored glasses!

And NO was used as just an out of the blue example. No wonder the Cowboys have sucked for 30 years. Do you guys ever get on any other team websites or forums? The fans of other teams don't talk this way. The Giants know their owner is having them tank.

Jerry Jones has a lot of oy guys eating out of the palm of his hand. Just give them a win here, a win there and they'll just keep coming back for more $$$$$$$$$$$.

If this team wants to win the SB, it can't keep doing what it always does. the blue chip players fall within the top 8 to 12 depending on the draft class. Sometimes a blue chipper will fall, but not often.
