Should definitely see the field.

I think they should give Rush a chance to win these next two or three games (yeah yeah, we know it aint happening) but assuming we dont (and we wont) then I think you have to go to Lance by Turkey Day and let him start the rest of the season.

Thats awesome stuff though. Mine's not quite old enough to have a brew with but he'll be there in another year, looking forward to it.

It's fun. And it's the only reason we go see a game and spend a weekend together. You'll enjoy it.

I don't think Cooper is a better QB than Dak, per se. But I think he sees the field better and if this team responds to Cooper Rush, all hell is going to break loose. In any event, it gives me a reason to watch the games now.

Hopefully we will be sellers.

Right now we are being projected to have 4 extra comp picks next year. 3 in the 5th and 1 in the 6th. We have 6 of our original 7 picks (no pick in 7th rd). Total of 10. Getting an extra couple picks would be smart.

"Long term goals"? RJ, what team do you think you're talking about here? The only "long term goal" Jerry has is media relevancy.
Lance seeing the field will only confirm that he doesn't belong, though Jerry and the yes men will write it off as needed experience; and God forbid he have one good game, it'll get treated like one of Dak's fourth quarter garbage fests when down by three scores...

Dont know how Lance the passer will fare (based on his last preseason game, maybe not so well) but the one thing he can do and will be vastly improved over 4 at is he will take off and run, and his scrambling is a huge threat that teams would have to account for.

Prescott was good at extending plays and if nothing there, taking off and running early in his career, and he was good at it. Lance may struggle some passing but he can get outside the pocket, extend plays and will definitely turn some scrambles into significant plays.

Thats ok, he is worth every penny
I can fly you to Italy and find a dozen people who can do what Aubrey does just in my hometown of 15k people. All it takes is some training.

I'm exaggerating to make a point. If we can't find a halfway decent kicker for a reasonable amount of money then we truly do suck.

With all the soccer players in this world, how hard can it be? I used to dabble with kicking a football when I was young. The differences between kicking a soccer ball and a football aren't really all that great. It's just a matter of getting used to it.

Not to mention all the placekickers out of college every year.

which is exactly why it wont happen
Yes! Start Trey Lance! That way, at least Trey Lance can audition to sign with ANOTHER team, unless anyone out there thinks the Cowboys will franchise tag Lance and pay Dak.

I want to see Lance only because I'm curious, but the outcome of that trade is already known. Lance is a free agent and Dallas already signed Dak.

Rico Dowdle is in pretty fair company.

Also shows how pathetically ignorant Jones and McCarthy are for continuing to waste plays on Zeke when Dowdle is FAR better.

Zeke knew he was starting to go downhill when he got Jerry to give him a new contract. Same with Jaylon Smith.
