We are currently in the position to pick 9th overall if the season ended today.

Now hopefully Jerry will go ALL IN on tanking the rest of the season.

4th rounder

I said lock for top-100, more like lock for top 105. We are currently 9th overall and will do nothing but move up from here. There will be 96 picks in rounds 1-3 until the comp picks are announced. Might be 3-5 of those. Carolina is likely to end up with a very near the top of the 4th rd. In fact if (more likely when) they beat us when we play them it will actually HELP them get a higher pick from us.

Why do you think we need to go "all in" on tanking? Have you not seen this team get curb stomped enough to know losses are a given for them.

5-12, tops.

Moore was not good bro

And he was lousy last yr with Justin Herbert
No, he was not lousy last year with Herbert! There were events that happened in L.A. that had little to do with Moore, including Herbert being hurt. Herbert had a shoulder injury.

Look at it this way: If Moore were so bad, then would teams be so friggin' quick to hire him? He's not unemployed for very long.

Moore will probably be in consideration to be HC. Jerry is likely not going to get rid of Dak. The cap gets screwed up way too much. So one possible way to get Dak back on track is to go back to the old offense under Moore.

It won't help Dak to have to learn yet another offense, so Moore could make sense in Jerry's mind.

I am not arguing for Moore. I am saying this is likely going to be a consideration for Jerry.

My choice is to hire Belichick. I don't care that he is old. I don't care if a potted plant says more in an interview. However, Belichick might not be interested in the Cowboys. I think the Jags would be more appealing to Belichick.

I'm guessing Khan will be more likely to give Belichick what he wants, and Belichick likely likes Lawrence better than Dak. Plus, Baalke and Belichick have a history of working together.

So don't be shocked if Moore is a strong contender.

Belichick over the years has spoken glowingly of Prescott (much to most people's surprise). I have wondered since the day Jones signed him to that ludicrous deal if it was something that Belichick privately gave a head nod to.

That said, the Prescott on film this year looks like a complete 180 from most of his career, I think having him and that 240 million albatross of a deal would definitely impact a lot of potentially "good" coaches wanting to come here, because they probably know there's no way to talk Jones into moving on and drafting someone early (which this coming draft looks poor for anyway IMO)

Hoodie already making his list, checking it twice.

As I have written before, a different GM doesn't automatically mean more success, but after so many years of relative futility, Jerry the owner needs to fire Jerry the GM and try something else.

But it would be really hard for Stephen and Jerry not to meddle into any new GMs business or thought process. So would a new GM merely be a lackey anyway?

That's why someone like Belichick, who has trophies and who can stand up to Jerry and Stephen, needs to be hired. But I really don't think Belichick would take the job.

Jerry the fuck up strikes again.

Again, you sent a 4th rd pick to another team (and one of your biggest rivals) for this guy, and you refuse to play him. There is absolutely no way in hell he is worse than Cooper Rush.

If Lance cant play at all, then why is he still on the roster? Call up Grier and get Lance out of here if he is so bad that he cannot play any. We know Rush is not the answer and this team has no shot in hell at the postseason. This makes no sense.

This organization is just mind numbingly inept. While I know the odds are low it would actually happen, I do have to wonder if in Jerry's fucked up mind he is worried if Lance plays and shows ANYTHING, that it makes his 240 million brainless twit decision on Prescott look even more pathetic. It actually would not surprise me.
