"Cowboys about to get $9.5 million in additional cap space"

This Sunday, June 2nd, the Dallas Cowboys will be among several teams to get a chunk of additional salary cap space. Where’s it coming from, and what might the team do with this sudden influx of spending room?

When Dallas released receiver Michael Gallup in March, he was given a June 1st designation under what’s now been a longstanding provision in the NFL collective bargaining agreement. A player-friendly maneuver, it allows teams to release players at any point in the offseason so that they can join the free agency market while there are still plenty of openings and teams with cap space to use. Their former team still gets the benefit of deferring a portion of their dead money hit to the following offseason, which had previously only come from holding the player on the roster until after June 1st.

We know what CeeDee's deal will be like now:

The Minnesota Vikings and star wide receiver Justin Jefferson have agreed to a four-year, $140 million contract extension that includes $110 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN. The deal makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Hopefully JJ’s deal getting done will speed up CeeDee signing his so we can move forward without all these contracts up in the air

Deuce Vaughn is getting a lot of reps in OTA's so far as a slot WR, something he also did at K State

Cowboys are 1 of 11 teams who have not acknowledged "Pride" month.

Jerry gets most things wrong, this isnt one of them.

Over the weekend, 11 NFL teams chose not to tweet or acknowledge pride month. The 11 teams are:

The Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons.

Best pure passer we have ever had. His accuracy was off the charts ridiculous, great arm strength. In his prime, nobody threw intermediate level passes better than Aikman. His could rip throws between two and three defenders in his sleep and there was nothing those guys could do.

The work that him and Irvin put in to perfect their timing was awesome.
