Last night the Cowboys called Tony Pollard for a 1st down rushing play 8 times.

The most successful of those eight was a 9 yd run, but that one was negated by a holding call on Lamb.

The other 7 carries, we gained 7 yards TOTAL.

Rashan Evans will likely be active and probably in the starting lineup vs the Rams in two weeks.

But I do like what we saw of Bell, who only started playing that role after Overshown blew out his knee in preseason.

That by the way was a huge loss, he looked like a really, really good player and would have had a signficant role all year on this D.

But Bell looked really good last night.
Overshown might have been the only drafted player who could have had a real year 1 impact. Of course, there's always a lot of hype on Cowboys players, so it's hard to say.

Overshawn would not have been the first player to get lots of positive pub in preseason only to disappear in the regular season. But if the hype is to be believed, then yes, I agree.
