Well, okay, I didn't watch the games and I'm not sure how it happened, but both the Eagles and the Niners lost.

Can we take advantage and beat the Chargers? We got a bit of a gift here.

Okay, I'm watching highlights of the Jets vs Eagles game on the Jets website. The Eagles turned it over at least 4 times and missed a FG. This would explain it.

Niners and Eagles lose on the same day. A win tomorrow would cap off a great weekend.
Now dont you go trying to post positive stuff in this thread BB.

That shit aint gonna fly here.

We suck, accept it.

Niners offense looked completely hopeless after first drive of game. Browns D totally dominated them. That's one week after our "dominant" "generational defense" couldnt do fucking jack shit with them and gave up 6 of the easiest tds anyone could ever see.

Niners could have still won though. Their 3rd rd pick PK missed two fairly easy FG's, including the game winner with almost no time left.

Yes, I just saw the highlights on the Browns website.

Perhaps a classic case of the Niners having a let down after a big win and facing a backup QB.

On a completely different topic, I recommend people buy a little extra non-perishable foods. Don't necessarily go crazy with it, but from the people I listen to (NOT FOX, CNN, etc) we could be heading toward a bit of a rough patch over the Israel stuff.

Hope runs eternal. Jerry has us well trained.

BUt in all honesty, it's not as if we have no shot.

Still, unless we get lucky, we are not better than the Niners or Eagles on a day when all teams are at their best. I'll go back to the Ted Lasso quote, "It's the hope that kills ya".

As I'm writing this, the Bills have another major injury. What are the odds?

Our supply lines could run into problems. Importing products might be tough, and since we barely make anything in the USA anymore....high inflation.

Since Biden put a halt to domestic drilling and we now get oil again from Saudi Arabia etc the oil needs military escort, but we might get drawn into other events. Could result in higher gas prices again, etc.

There could also be "unrest" in big US cities, since we no longer are judicious with who gets to come to the USA..

They said to try to have a 1 to 3 month food supply. I personally bought some extra peanut butter, beans, cereal, canned soup, protein bars, etc today. I live in Houston. Never know.

Our MSM is reporting things in a way that is highly unfair to the Palestinians. It's a war drum similar to Ukraine, similar to WMDs. By the way, after billions to Ukraine, the truth is they are getting their asses kicked. Russia is taking its sweet time.

But, of course, there is never any money to help US citizens.

Anyhow, back to the Cowboys..

He's only started a handful of games after only having one real yr in college as a starter (which was sensational)

He didn't exactly "lose" the starting job either. He won it in training camp last yr and then got hurt. They traded him because they caught lightning in a bottle with Purdy and knew he was never going to give up that job, barring an injury.

He needs time to develop and he is getting that now. Hopefully he gets a chance to show what sort of upside he has for the future. Nobody really knows what Lance is or isnt right now, but we all sure as hell know what Prescott is.
We can all see great immediately. They didn't see great. He's gone. They got great. We don't. Their brains are better than ours. Isn't that readily apparent?

They lost and Philly lost, thats nice.

But neither one of them got blown to smithereens like we did, and we also got taken to the woodshed by lowly Arizona.

This team fucking sucks.

Purdy wouldn't be on the field if it weren't for injuries Dooms. THAT is a fact.

The Niners weren't some ultra geniuses there that schooled everyone to get the kid and then made him the starter. He was the 3rd QB that got the job because the two guys ahead of him (including Lance) both got hurt.

Once they saw that Purdy was not simply a flash in the pan, they decided he was their future. They made a good lockerroom decision to move a guy that was picked really early instead of having him linger there. He made way more money than Purdy too, which would be hard to justify. Lastly, they seemed to like Lance and wanted to honor his request to move on and start over somewhere else.

Have to love Zoner-tards.

Trying to justify/minimize our two ass-stomping losses by screaming about close losses for Niners and Eagles on the road (both games that they played bad, but could have easily have won in the end)..."lets see how the media plays this!!!!!!"...."see, Brock Purdy is not that good!!!!!!"...."looks at Jalen Hurts!!!!!!!!"

Our "generational" defense gave up 70 points and tons of yards in both those games. We made Josh Dobbs look a quality starting QB. I haven't seen pass defense as bad as what we saw against San Fran in a L O N G time, and they scored 6 tds by themselves. A week+ later, and Dan Quinn+ our slow as molasses safeties still can't find TE George Kittle.

Then there's the Prescott problem. He got outplayed badly by Dobbs and then we witnessed career practice squad flub PJ Walker outplay him vs the same defense he was hopeless against a few days ago.
