Don't sleep on the Lions my amigo.

They get a chance to shitstomp us later in the year and right now appear to be a runaway winner of the NFC North, barring a slew of injuries.

I'm not Amigo. Goff has been playing well but I do think our D can give him some trouble. I like the way he's playing though.

No Deuce Vaughn for us tonight, he's going to be benched in lieu of Malik Davis, who was activated from PS. Vaughn was the backup PR and KR so this is probably a good indicator that Kevante Turpin is going to be able to play.

Deuce Vaughn is another one you fools fell for. We could have picked a bruising back or gotten more line help but we needed a feel good story so we threw away a pick. And you and others pimped the midget.

I expected him to be a lot faster/quicker, a la Little Train James. Whoops.

Our DCU forum is FIRED up for this one I can tell.

Massive activity from all 4 of our regular people today. Nobody can wait for Jerry's Kids to hit the field tonight!

I'm interested to see how this team reacts. Dak won't dink and dunk his way to a win unless the D plays lights out. Dak has to throw down field and make plays.

This is a pivotal game for Dak.

I never expected Deuce to be a world beater. I said it from the start, in the right circumstances and in the right doses I believe he can be productive; as perhaps a best case poor man's Darren Sproles. The main reason that hasn't translated is because too many talking heads and fans called for him to be more, and they've tried to obilge by putting him in every situation, not just the ones he's suited for.

Honestly I think he shits the bed. He is playing scared, afraid of making mistakes and he'll make them anyway.

That said, he could throw for 400 yds and 4 tds and we win in a blowout and I'm not changing my opinion of him anymore. We've seen this show before, although the difference now is other than the Tampa playoff game he has basically stunk for 7 of the last 8 games that counted.

They appear to have better coaching and IMO are probably a lot hungrier than this team is.

I fully expect them to wipe the floor with us in December.

Honestly he hasnt had many chances and many of his carries came with backup OL's in the game.

It sounds like if he is inactive tonight it has more to do with pass protection stuff than anything else.

Simi Fehoko says Kellen Moore wants to score 100 tonight.

Everyone loves a good revenge narrative in the NFL, and Week 6 has offered fans quite an intriguing storyline for the Monday Night Football contest between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys. Chargers offensive coordinator and former Cowboys play-caller Kellen Moore will be dialing up the X’s and O’s against his former employer Mike McCarthy and Dallas on Monday night.

And don’t think for one second that Moore doesn’t have his eyes on revenge, especially given the way his tenure with the Cowboys ended. Current Chargers- and former Cowboys wide receiver Simi Fehoko said that Moore “wants to put up 100 points if he can”, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

Chargers’ Kellen Moore has revenge on his mind?

“Kellen wants to put up 100 points if he can. And he’s going to keep scoring if he can.”

Fehoko, who played for Moore while both were employed by the Cowboys, sure makes it seem like the Chargers play-caller is taking this one personally.

And why would Moore take this game against McCarthy and the Cowboys personally, you ask?

Look no further than comments made by McCarthy, who took over play-calling duties after Moore and Dallas “agreed to part ways”, back in March at the NFL Scouting Combine, per Popper and The Athletic’s Jon Machota.

Emmitt says he would not extend Prescott. I suspect some other VIP's from Cowboys of past will start echoing this very soon.

A former Cowboys star believes the franchise shouldn't give quarterback Dak Prescott a contract extension.

"At this point, I probably wouldn't," Hall of Famer and all-time leading NFL rusher Emmitt Smith said Monday on ESPN's "UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio." "I think there are other positions on the football field that we need to have."

Prescott has two years remaining on his deal, which includes a potential out in 2024 that will incur $61.915M in dead cap if activated. Spotrac projects his market value is a four-year deal worth $48.4M annually, good for fifth in the NFL.

This season, his play hasn't merited a monster extension yet. In five games, the eighth-year QB has thrown five TDs, four interceptions and has an above-average passer rating of 87.5. Not terrible, but not astounding. Also, as any Cowboys fan will be painfully aware, he's 2-4 in the playoffs.

Along with Prescott, other stars are up for extensions over the next two seasons, such as linebacker Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. The Cowboys can't afford to pay all of them. The franchise is projected to be $10.714M under the cap in 2024, per Spotrac.

The Cowboys are coming up on a few difficult decisions very soon. Since Prescott isn't one of the most elite QBs in the league right now, Dallas may move on.

Moore's a dumbass, and if he's butt hurt about not being in Dallas anymore he should've sucked less...
