Wouldnt have mattered had he reported they said, he was an ineligible anyway due to the formation.WoW. Not reporting as an eligible receiver is a mistake Dallas would make...

Zelle playing center and snapping the football as we lost to the Niners in the playoffs
This coach of the Lions is just THAT MUCH SCARED of Dak! Didn't wanna do no overtime! All of it pure luck
Dude where you been! I've missed you!
I hope the utterly disgusting game management by MM after the Wilson pick is not glossed over because we luckily still won.
But damn he screwed up. KICK THE FUCKIN EXTRA POINT!I love Dan Campbell, he hates losing and bleeds with his team unlike the dipshit cowboys owner who among his many dumbass statements has actually said he's proud of the other team after a loss, WTF?
we're lucky he's a cocky little shit. any other coach would've played for OT.This coach of the Lions is just THAT MUCH SCARED of Dak! Didn't wanna do no overtime!

The NFL has had 325 overtime games since the rule was adopted in 1974. The results:
- The team that has won the toss has won 169 times (52.0%).
- The team that has lost the toss has won 141 times (43.4%).
- There have been 15 ties (4.6%).
Pro Football Success Rate When Attempting a Two-Point Conversion
In the years mentioned the success rate was 48.2%. This would have made the two-point attmepts have a negative expected value, and the smart choice would have been to kick it.
Now, however, the smart play might be to attempt the two-point conversion. The expected points from a kick would be 1-point * 95.2%: .952. The expected points from going for two would be 2-points * 48.2%: .964.
Wonder what the math says regarding the chances of winning in OT vs the chances of winning with the 2 point conversion, seems like it might be pretty close but I'm just spit-ballin
Play Success Rate Attempts Pass 43.4% 739 Run 61.7% 258 Overall 48.2% 997
Mass meltdowns on ESPN and NFLN about the 2pt play. ESPN wont even listen to their own ref expert broadcaster apparently, as he noted after the play it really didnt make any difference who reported, they could have called 1 of 3 different 5 yd penalties for what happened.
Regardless of what you think of the first attempt, in the end it was in their hands, and they couldn't get it done.In the end, on the 3rd attempt Goff had the receiver for the easy 2pt play but he threw a poor pass. Didnt seem it was pressure related either. He just missed it.
I've had several, it still doesntOverall, ugly ass win. But if we all have another beer it'll look prettier...
