Detroit has 1 win vs a team with winning record (KC on opening night and they were missing a few key players)

It sux, we lost to San Fran badly and then lost in Philly, though we could have easily have won that game in the end. You can only beat who you play, and right now we have 7 wins and 6 of them have been by 20+ points. Most people think San Fran, Baltimore and KC are the 3 best teams in the league. Those 3 teams COMBINED have 7 wins by 20+ points.

Many memorable games. I recall this one as it were yesterday. Thanksgiving Day in 1993, during a rare snow & sleet storm in Dallas, the Cowboys, who came into the game w/a 7–3 record, were leading the 8–2 Dolphins by a score of 14–13 w/15 seconds remaining in the game. We ALL know how that one ended don't we Leon?!

I was at that game (40 yard line, 20 rows up) and despite all the sleet and cold, it was surprisingly comfortable. Directly behind me were 2 rabid Dolphin fans who were talking shit the entire game but stormed off when the kick was blocked before seeing Lett screw the pooch, I was glad I didnt have to eat crow face to face on top of the ridiculous loss

most teams crater after losing the super bowl, they seem to have found a way to overcome that and always be in the fight at the end, let me jinx them by stating I think they've locked up the division and likely home field
