Quinn has close ties with Pete Carroll and their GM. I think unless he tells teams he doesn't want to leave again, he's going to get that gig if he wants it.We might get a break if Seattle makes a play for Vrabel instead of Quinn.

Yeah I've never understood why the league allows this. Make it fair for everyone involved (all the coaches being interviewed or needing new jobs elsewhere, plus the teams still in the playoffs those coaches work for) and just make a rule that says new coaches can't be interviewed or hired until the season is completely over (after the Super Bowl). If everyone starts the same day, I don't see how that wouldnt be the most fair and something that all teams and the league office should support.I have always thought that all teams should have to wait until after the SB before requesting permission to interview currently employed coaches
Not convinced Dakota is getting his extension now. He's had too many of these type games.Flat embarrassing …. No excuses. McCarthy will be fired and Our”Franchise QB” will get a record contract and Jerry will go to his grave without a championship and ridding himself of the ghost of Jimmy Johnson! Go Texans!

Post June 1 release is a possibility. If we don’t extend him he will make $59M next season with a no trade clause
We don’t have much of a choice
The Packers took a big cap hit when they traded Rodgers and made the playoffs anyway. Of course, they also had a great draft whereas we whiffed completely. If we don’t extend him he will make $59M next season with a no trade clause
