Clowney? Pfft. Pass.
To me this is the only real bright spot in not doing much, this free agent class is really ho-hum.

I wouldn't have minded keeping Gregory but he was a risk with all that guaranteed money. Jones got even more money than he did and is older. Miller will probably sign with the Rams for a fairly big deal, he would be nice but like Jones he is older. Z Smith, if healthy was probably the guy we should have honed in on, and he got a fairly reasonable contract.

Myles Jack is coming off his worst year in the league and has a degenerative knee problem anyway. Love Bobby Wagner and while he still has some gas in the tank and bigtime leadership skill, he too is pretty old.

There are still a number of decent OL they could get though, and to me this is the one thing they HAVE to straighten out. Get lard ass Collins and his shit attitude out of here and get decent replacements at LG and RT.

I know it wont happen, but this would be a huge addition if they'd go get this guy. Having him, DLaw and Parsons terrorizing QB's on pass downs would be amazing. Had an injury shortened season last yr but still had 6 sacks in 7 games, had back to back seasons of 14.5 sacks and is a legit all-pro caliber player.

And one of our defensive assistants was his D Coordinator in Minnesota (George Edwards)

Instead of Gregory, Miller, Jones or a guy like Hunter, this is probably what we'll get.

On the other hand, Mayowa actually has 3 seasons with 6 or more sacks. The guy we failed to re-sign had that once.

Ya i think the best strategy as a fan is to stop wasting your time on who DAL is gonna sign

If you stop watching tv, free agency will go away just like covid did

Truth is DAL wont sign anyone but You’ll come away happier, fresh and ready for the draft

This is what they talk about when they say to pay attention and take care of your mental health

Assuming they arnt giving him some stupid deal, keeping Armstrong is a good move. He's a good rotational player and spot starter.

They still need a legit DE opposite Lawrence. Some have floated the idea that the new every-down RDE would be Parsons (who is a better pass rusher than anyone we could have signed anyway) but he might be a liability vs the run, especially if he has to play RDE all the time. Also seems like if they wanted to do that they would have never tried to re-sign Gregory in the first place.

Danielle Hunter would be ideal if healthy, and we might not have to trade a lot to get him because of the Vikings cap situation.

good

the comp pick is probably better then what this dumbass front office would fetch in a trade

What are you talking about?

We got a bag o chips for Amari Cooper! How dare you question the effectiveness of our front office in trade scenarios.

Apparently we are about to release L’ael Collins
Zoners crying like a baby over this, but the guy was garbage last year and pulled one of the alltime dumbfuck moves trying to bribe a drug tester.

We wont get a comp pick for him, he was cut.

Apparently they had 1 or 2 offers for him for a late round pick, but they preferred designating him the post June-1 cut to get more cap room. (essentially 10 million vs 1 million)
