Archer is saying LVE's deal is for around 3 million.

I think the 5th yr option price tag was close to 9 mils.

The higher the likelihood of him being a Cowboy correlates directly with the higher the severity of his injury

There goes our fucking 2nd round draft pick

I'm not so sure gentlemen. Now, if he fails his drug test, it's a lock that we'll grab him in the second round. And then we can listen to dbair pimp him for the next few years until he's released.

We just signed former Steeler WR James Washington

Or in other words…

Who?

Hmmm…

He’s been in the league since 2018, never done shit, and I’ve never heard of him.

Good to see us make a splash in free agency

Free agency thrift shop yet again

But we got “cap space” now from coop/collins (that the team will not use)

This fuckin team

Then we find out dak recruiting and throwing free mattresses and nachos at top tier free agents only to find out the team didnt even make an offer

This fuckin team

And re-sign dlaw under the impression the cap space will be used to help out the team

This criticism subsides for now if they get bobby wagner or even honey badger

Apparently we did make an offer for Miller. It was just the same offer we made to Gregory. But it was nowhere near what he got with the Bills. So we never stood a chance.

I think the offer was $70m and he got $120m from the Bills. So we were never even in consideration.

notorious bust

He had two pretty good years and a bunch of other mediocre to poor ones.

In his two good seasons, he had more sacks in either yr than Gregory ever has (8 and 11.5, which was 2019 with the Rams). Last yr he had 4.5 sacks for Atlanta.

One yr deal, he might not even make the team and if he does, might not be more than a rotational guy.

The Stealers didnt utilize him much. He was regarded as a solid down field/deep threat guy coming out of Oklahoma St (where he had some huge seasons) but by the time the Stealers got him they had a broken down Rapistburger at QB.

Still a young guy with some upside. To me this could be similar to a Laurent Robinson type move.

Wagner would be a good signing but even he is getting on up there in age.

To me getting someone like Danielle Hunter from the Vikes or maybe Zadarius Smith from GB (reneged on Ravens), if either one of those is truly healthy they could be true impact players. Wagner no doubt would be a great QB for the defense. In fact either of those guys is far better than Gregory, Miller, Fowler or Clowney is by a long ways.

If healthy, those 4 guys are quality depth and maybe spot-starters for injured guys, but none of those guys is an answer to any problems and if the front office is counting on those guys to be week in and week out starters we are probably not going to be a very good team next year.

We still need a legit starting RDE, we still need another legit starting LB and we still need a legit 3rd WR. We also still need a starting SS as the one we had apparently thinks he is worth mega-dollars despite only being relevant for one yr of his entire career.
