Truth.Never said it did. But none of those are mutually exclusive. The poor officiating is being overshadowed by the poor showing by the Cowboys. But they did have a couple of 1st downs called back and the refs seemed to ignore some obvious penalties on the Cards. No issue of the refs are going to be ticky tacky. Just call it both ways.
It always seems like a flag comes at the most inopportune time.
And some of what they "missed" happened right in front of the official. The play I referenced in my OP where the Cards held BOTH Gregory and Lawrence was painfully obvious and the ref was looking right at it. The ref was looking right at Amari Cooper when the Card guy was raping him all the way down the sideline through the end of the play. The refs obviously saw the two or three false starts that everybody could see. The ref was in position to see the Card guy was out of bounds (stopping the clock) instead of saying he was down in bounds.
