It doesn’t look good

When they showed the Doc pulling on his lower leg it showed too much movement in his knee

That’s not a good sign. My knee moved like that when I screwed up my ACL.

And he has just been ruled out. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s gone for the year

Ding ding ding

This is one time I wish I wasn’t right. Looks like it’s a torn ACL and he’s gone for the remainder of the season.

The good news is that with his injury this late in the season he will probably still be a question mark to start the season.

We may get a hometown discount to resign him because of this injury where we may have assuredly lost him in the off season otherwise

There's not enough balls for him, Cooper and Lamb anyway.

I'd hate to see Gallup go but would hate it even worse if his injury ends his career.

I doubt it is career ending

In looking at the play itself there was no obvious injury at the time. It’s not like his leg flopped over or did a Joe Theisman or anything. So I doubt it’s serious enough to end his career. He should be back after training camp next season. I doubt we see anything from him before game 1 week 1 of next season. If not a little later than that.

It's already January. This is not a two-month injury. Just ask Barkley.

And next week we have a chance to eliminate Philly from the playoffs (as things stand right now) and I seriously doubt we win that game. Leading to.... You guessed it - hosting Philly in a wildcard game! Gee I wonder how that will turn out.
I think AZ wins the 5th seed if they win next week and the Rams win the division.

I think we're pretty much locked into the 4th seed unless we win and some bizarre combination of other shit happens.

Plus, Troy kept saying tonight that we "couldn't run the ball." EIGHT carries for Zeke is NOT TRYING to run the ball. It's not "can't."

He averaged over 5 yards per carry. Just didn't get any carries. Again we see we simply don't want to run the fucking ball!
They had very little success though and Pollard basically had none on his carries. The run blocking was painfully bad for the most part. Zeke's best run was wiped out by a holding call.

Then they got way behind.

Uh, 9 carries for 16 yds doesnt add to 5 yds per carry there Dooms

The deficit was never so large that we had to stop running. We couldn't run.

There were a bunch of fouls we did too, the refs missed. Objective eyes. Yes the officiating sucks and always has.

It's what, eight guys watching 22 players on a field of something like 330,000 square feet?
Yeah but there's no excuse to miss obvious holding calls right in front of you, false starts, delay of games and saying a guy was down in bounds when he clearly wasnt.

They called just about everything they could on us. On the other hand the Cards did plenty that was ignored or did the same things we did, but didnt get called.

Like I said in my OP, I am fine if they want to let guys play, I'm fine if they want to call stuff super tight. JUST DO IT THE SAME FOR BOTH SIDES. It shouln't be that hard.

Yep, they COULDNT run. It had nothing to do with not calling it enough like Dooms said.

No excuse for it either.

Fucking whiners. Crybabies. Making excuses for their feckless play.

He wasnt making excuses, he pointed out the obvious.

The officiating was not good Dooms. The team played like shit, but the refs did not do a good job today.

Did you see any penalties on us that weren't legit today? I didn't. We're just sloppy and take too many shortcuts. And not intelligent about it.

There's a meme talking about Brady getting away with cussing out an opposing coach. BECAUSE HE IS BRIGHT ENOUGH TO TAKE A LOOK AROUND FIRST. They don't call what they don't see. None were around. He checked first.
"They don't call what they don't see"

Yeah I'm on board with that, however the stuff in question from today was ALL seen, and they did something else.

We got whipped up front, and Schultz couldn't block the late Betty White. I think Dak set a record for batted passes. You'd think he was Murray's height.

Because we're sloppy, lazy, dumb, and DO the fouls at inopportune times. You don't see the better teams have these issues constantly. Jimmy's Cowboys didn't. Belechick's teams don't. Look at the top teams and watch how they play and conduct themselves.
Most of the calls on us were legit Dooms, nobody I have seen post so far has said otherwise.

The problem is when the same officials who call all that stuff on one side almost completely ignore it on the other side.

Not sure why they thought having a bad blocking TE (that would be Schultz) try to block a perennial probowl DE (Chandler Jones) was a good plan.

It happened at least two or three times that everyone could see, and every time it was a disaster.

The holding calls on the line were legit (not ticky tack). The refs missed a few on the final drive (possible fumble and a player going out of bounds on his own).
