i'm really interested in baker mayfield's career progression tho. my fav qb out of the bunch

I'll be surprised if he pans out to be honest.

I think he probably has too much knucklehead in him to be a bigtime NFL player. I think he is a better passer than Manziel was, but I think otherwise the comparisons between the two are somewhat legit.

i keep seeing mocks saying that barkley is going top 5

i do not see that happening between the browns (twice), giants, colts and broncos

MAYBE the browns take him with pick #4 but the others are not taking barkley

I dunno, IMO one of the two safest players in the draft the other being Nelson. I think a better player than Zeke. If he goes somewhere with no QB and a shit OL, all bets are off.

also as it stands right now, i think rosen goes #1 overall

Only way that happens IMO is if somebody trades up to number 1. He already said he didnt want to be there. I think he ends up NYG. I still think Cle goes Darnold.

agreed

w/ dorsey running CLE now, i think he builds the team correctly by taking his shot at QB1 and then giong w/ nelson at #4. if nelson isnt there, then go defense or WR but WR at 4 seems high with this class. especially w/ ridley whos basically the brandon weeden of WR's. i hadnt heard that about rosen not wanting to goto CLE but that dude is a little weird so i believe it. if thats why they go darnold/allen then that would be a shame .. i dont see CLE's RB situation as a need at pick #4. why not find your joe thomas of the future?

a team that takes barkley should be a few pieces away from competing. similar to how jax and dal took fournette and elliott. dal had the o-line to support the decision, jax has the D to support that (esp with all their FA signings) heavy run style that need from fournette. CLE right now doesnt have much of anything going on besides a good DLine.

Yeah he is relentless, so I am sure he'll make a great Steeler or Patriot.

I've been reading lots of stuff that says our scouts really like him and that they believe he could possibly be a strongside OLB on base downs and pass rush specialist on 3rd downs

Not sure I agree, Zeke was pretty dominant on a week to week basis at Ohio State and absolutely killed it in big games. He went over 1800 yds both his SO and JR seasons.

Barkley has some explosive traits obviously but in terms of game over game performance, Elliott was more productive than Barkley by quite a bit. Elliott had almost as many 100 yd games as a JR than Barkley had his entire 3 yr career.

Again, it might be the smart play (OL that is) but I have a hard time seeing them go OL at 19, doubt he lasts til 50. Supposedly LAC eyeing him big time also.
Cowboys are gonna have 10 picks in this draft. Should be easy enough to move up from 50 to somewhere near the start of the 2nd to get anyone left over from day 1 that they have a 1st round grade on.

I doubt he makes it to 50 either. Might be a target if we move down from 19 or up from 50 though.
